TV show description:
This dramatic series attempts to answer the questions: What if you could go back in time and do it all over again? What would you do differently?
The story begins with Becca (Laura Ramsey) on the eve of her second wedding. It all seems perfect this time around, but she’s still plagued by doubt. What if she could fix everything, and make the ‘right’ choices this time?
Becca finds herself thinking about her former best friend Lolly (Sarah Goldberg), with whom she had a falling out many years ago. If only she could talk to her again.
Suddenly, after a freakish elevator ride, Becca gets the opportunity to do just that. She wakes up in New York City on the morning of her first wedding day in 1995. She’s about to marry Sean (Craig Horner), a bad-boy artist who is all wrong for her — and she knows her first move must be to reconnect with Lolly to re-live that day.
Can she “make it right” by living her life all over while re-adapting to life in New York City in the 90’s — a time of smoking in bars, carrying pagers, having an AOL email address?
Becca will soon discover there’s no sure-fire way to make the right choices in life — even knowing everything she thinks she knows now.
Episode #10 — Auld Lang Syne
Lolly sees Becca and Kevin kissing and eventually gives her blessing to their relationship. Sean sells some of his paintings while Paige gets a part in a movie and they decide to put the brakes on their relationship. Andy and Melanie get married. Jamie’s drug problems hit dangerously close to home. Lolly finds out why their friendship ends in the future and this causes her to end the friendship again, prompting a desperate move on Becca’s part. Hoping to escape the damage her trip back in time has caused, Becca attempts to time travel again. It’s unclear whether or not she’s successful.
First aired: March 11, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Hindsight TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or returned for a second season?
My daughter and I have been waiting for Hindsight to come back on since season one ended last year. I finally go online to see that it was cancelled shortly after the decision to renew was made. What a shame. I am disgusted, considering the other crap that is one TV.
LOVED HINDSIGHT!! So sad it got cancelled 🙁
So the show Younger is ok, but Hindsight is awesome;
emotional and real. Why would you dump a show so good? There is so much crap on tv, can’t we just have one good show, you ********. Everything has to be so annoyingly advertized and boring. Come on, the Kardashians have like 8 shows that are all terrible!!!
I’m so angry to just find out that Hindsight has been cancelled!!! First Mob Wives now this?! I’m no longer watching anything from VH1! I boycott them! Their leadership clearly doesn’t know what the public wants! Shame on you VH1!
I am soooo upset that VH1 cancelled this show!!! I don’t understand how they can keep such garbage on like Dating Naked, but cancel such an awesome show like Hindsight. I really related to this show. Not only did I was a teenager during that time, but I also have wondered what it would be like to go back and change things. Shame on you VH1!!! I never once watched this channel until this show came on. Now, I will NEVER watch this channel again! BOYCOTT VH1!!!!
I thought this show was well done. It was creative & true to the 90s. I loved it. It shot quickly to my number 1 favorite shows. And I watch a lot of television! I am truly disappointed by this cancelation. One more season is all I ask for. PLEASE!
I loved this series and I’m really disappointed it is being cancelled.
I am so upset this show was canceled. Anyone know if there is a chance of another channel picking up the show?
Being a professional middle-aged female, I like others wished I had my current wisdom in order to have other choices when first starting out. This show hit home big time with myself and my friends. We never missed it and discussed each show at length. VH1 has some really idiotic reality shows that I won’t waste time on but this one was written with me in mind. Shame on you for cancelling such an insightful series. Thought VH1 was finally growing up, maybe in hindsight you will realize your mistake.
loved this show. It really was like going back in time. I looked forward to hearing the music.
I love this show!! I hate that vh1 isn’t renewing. I hope another network picks it up!!
Hope it is renewed, I was a late 70’s teen, early 80’s in my 20’s. Brings back so many youthful memories. Love the story and concept too!
Thank God this show got picked up for a 2nd season. I wasn’t sure that VH1 was going to be smart enough to renew it. I was afraid that they would make a huge mistake by not renewing this fabulous show like most networks do. I feel like I’m watching or reliving my life all over again. From the clothes to the music, the lingo and VHS tapes, and the Scrunchies! Which those can be left in the 90’s. Ever since it aired I went and dug out all of my old cassette tapes ( which of course my kids… Read more »
One of the very few shows that I look forward to, even if I have to stay up late….can’t wait for the next season
Great Show..please renew !
