It was a positive start for this new sitcom. The network was on par when compared to the premiere of season two of Suburgatory back in October. Compared to the previous week’s original episode of Suburgatory in the timeslot, ABC was up by 52% in the demo (vs a 1.9 rating) and up by 58% in viewership. As is usually the case, we’ll have a better idea about the show’s chances for renewal in the next few weeks.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the How to Live With Your Parents TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Love this show!!!!! Has to stay on!!! Please
seriously! Im skipping all new shows . no sence geeting hooked they will only cancel. if by some luck they last another season ill catch it on netflix.
It is adorable! This show is well acted (especially little Natalie) and I think hits on all demographics, my daughter (age 10) and myself (mom in her 40’s) totally enjoy this show – please do not cancel!
I read they cancelled the show and was really upset! It is one of the funnier shows and I really hope they give it another shot, the ratings seemed to go up every week.
I think people over 40 really enjoy this show. I have friends who LOVE the show as I do. Not all shows are hysterically side slapping funny. This show is a chuckle which many shows do not even come close to. We will miss it. Perhaps a cable channel will pick this up. I do agree that the cast is very good.
I think the show is really funny … She’s in her thirties and a single mom .. Relatable and seems like it could be fun to watch them unravel .. O
I think the parents are out of their minds in a simple way . Oh well another cancelation of a good show.
I LOVE this show. I think it is very funny. It is the funniest show since soap was on years ago. Please bring it back.
I’m really enjoying this show. Not everything on TV needs to goofy and laugh out loud funny to be good entertainment. It’s easy, inoffensive watching.
I like the way they cut back to thoughts and events during episodes.
Love the show! Funny and well written.
Hope it gets renewed!!!!!
10 minutes into the 2nd episode and its already been deleted from our TiVo. A SitCom is supposed to make you laugh…this show did not. Just terrible and hurts since Scrubs (Sarah Chalke) and Everybody Loves Raymond (Brad Garrett) our two of my all-time favorite comedies.
This show sucked from the first show and is getting worse. I think the ratings will continue to decline and I predict cancellation.
Geee this show is sooooooooo stupid. First of all, it is NOT FUNNY at all. all the characters are sooooo dumb and borring. i like garret but not in this show. it is borring and i stopped watching after the half of the first show. if i were the ceo of this particilar channel i would fire the idiot who purchased the show. what a mess……
This show won’t last. Episode two made me yawn. Nothing compelling enough to keep me watching it week after week.
Really enjoyed it. I think it has potential for a long running hit series. The Jenn girl I can see being a hit with the teen viewers also.
Only one ep. but was good.
