What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World stars Jason Ritter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra, and India de Beaufort. The fantasy TV series centers on Kevin Finn. While he is not the world’s worst person, Kevin is self-involved and materialistic. While wallowing in his own misery, Kevin experiences a sequence of unbelievable events, then meets Yvette (Gregory), his heavenly guide. She informs him that he is the last of the 36 righteous born into his generation. Without the 36, everyone on Earth will begin to lose the only thing keeping them going — hope. Now, it is up to Kevin to “power up” his soul by committing selfless acts of kindness, so he can locate and anoint the next 36 and (probably) save the world.

Telly’s Take
Kevin (Probably) Saves the World launched with disappointing ratings and they haven’t gotten any better. Though the network has ordered three more episodes, I think the numbers are too low for the series to be renewed for a second season. Clearly, ABC still has a Tuesdays at 10pm problem. I love the show and looking forward to more seasons and more good episodes. Everyone isn’t into it because of reality shows & Facebook but I looove it.
The only reason ratings are down is because ABC put it in a bad time slot and they rarely advertise it. ABC cancels good shows and keeps the stupid ones. Please, give this show a chance and renew it!

Please please please renew it. It is a spiritually uplifting wonderful engaging funny exciting show that fills a hole in television that I didn’t even know it was there
I really enjoy this show when it is serious, I don’t like it when it gets too silly. I told a friend how great the show was and she finally agreed to give it a try. It was the episode where the opening scene he was sleep walking and kept following the balloon. That scene was dragged out so loooong. I – as an existing fan – fast forwarded through it. I found out later that she switched channels during that opening scene and watched something else, so they lost a potential new viewer from that long silly scene. That… Read more »
Sounds more like a lack of patience. i literally felt the same way but your reactions are way exaggerated. the scene cant be any longer than 2 or 3 minutes, so..
You and your friend sound like you probably miss out on quite a bit.. :/
The balloon scene was funny.
I’m saddened to see that this show might be in trouble. It’s a delightful show with a great message. The cast blends together very well, and as others have said, it’s perfect for Jason Ritter. Please give it another season. A little promotion wouldn’t hurt either…it’s a very pleasant change.
Kevin Can Probably Save the World saved TV. Such a great storyline with amazing actors. I love trash shows like so many but I also love good family shows that allow the writers to talk about God, spirituality & something other than sex & drugs. Can’t wait for the next episode. John (Ritter) is looking down with pride.
I LOVE THIS SHOW! I would be very upset if it was cancelled. The actors are talented. The writing is fresh and new. Great story line!
Kevin is one of the best shows on tv. Don’t take it away from us.
Please save this show. This world needs more shows like this one. It is a feel good positive show that families can watch together. There is not any quality shows like it anymore. We need it because people need HOPE and that is what this show represents! Hooe for all no matter who you are!!! SAVE KEVIN!
