What’s This TV Show About?
A History Middle Ages drama, Knightfall stars Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Simon Merrells, Olivia Ross, Ed Stoppard, Sabrina Bartlett, Julian Ovenden, Jim Carter, Bobby Schofield, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Sam Hazeldine, and Nasser Memarzia. Years after the Templars lose their last Holy Land stronghold, their dying Master Commander points them to the possible location of the Holy Grail. Whether they’re waging war in the Holy Land or in conflict with the king, they’re rushing headlong toward the eventual demise of the Templar Order.

Telly’s Take
The ratings have been significantly lower than Vikings’. However, I suspect Knightfall will score a season two renewal because the cable network is trying to build up its scripted programming slate. I absolutely loved season 1 of Knightdale and sincerely hope to see a 2nd season. The twist and.story goes hand and hand. It is really an awesome tv series with great writers and actors. Please please please bring it back

My husband and I just discovered Knitefall and watched the entire season in 1 sitting. Very addictive, We are looking forward to season 2!!
I hope there will be more. I enjoy the history with a wild storyline, it kept you on the edge and waiting for the next week’s story. I am so bored with all other programs. I miss the Game of Thrones too.

i love every episode of the season is never boring and is one of the best as compared to GAME OF THRONES
I do hope they renew this series for a second season. I have loved this show. The praise- it is engrossing, intriguing, absorbing, different as it focuses on the French royal dynasty. The negatives – more gore is needed as these were more vicious times and replace Olivia Ross as Joan for a stronger actress she is weak and her acting ability is quite poor rather acting the part than ‘being’ the part – refer to her speech to the people of Navarre in episode 9 – quite poor. Ironically Sabrina Bartlett who played Isabella would have faired much better.… Read more »

I agree, as a whole the series was worth watching and would watch season 2 if it does not become a show for the blood lust. I disagree with needing to see more gore to get the point of brutality – long drawn out battles get boring and hard to watch. I liked that they cut the battles with contrasting scenes-keeps the interest in the storyline and, Yes, I agree it begs to improve, but Joan’s switch from ‘OK to lie to king for the greater good to NO I will die before I live a lie with you’ was… Read more »
Please renew this series! i think they deserve a chance to telling a lot of stories and show all the true facts about the Templars! we almost don´t have any material of them in the little screen! The pilot was great, i hope the second episode can be getting better too. For first time in a lot of time we have a show different, in the style of “The ******* Executioner” that´s telling a part of the history very famous but of what we know very few.
