The grim reaper has come knocking for FOX’s Knock Knock Live. The Ryan Seacrest-hosted series has been cancelled after two low-rated episodes. The network notified its affiliates yesterday that the reality show had been pulled from its schedule.
The July 21st premiere averaged a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.75 million viewers. It was the smallest demo for any network series premiere this summer. The numbers got even worse in week two.
The Tuesdays at 9pm timeslot will be filled with a double helping of The Last Man on Earth reruns next week and encores of Last Man and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will take over after that.
my brother lit hair spray on fire one time……..last Saturday. he jumped a foot in the air. i wish i had recorded it at the time
right when i was really into knock knock live they shut it down . especially with JUSTIN BIEBER like I love him TODS!
I think it was very stupid of them to cancel knock knock live. you know why? it was my favorite show but you tv broad casters dont care to shut it down.
I think the kind of reality shows that help people are fabulous…The only complaint I have is that is always people in cities that benefit..It is time to step out into small town USA..That would make the shows much more interesting and more people would watch..Help young hard working middle class couples that have a hard time caring for their children with the wages they earn, not dead beats that live off the system and don’t care about their children, instead would rather have beer, cigarettes and drugs..
i dont get y that has to do with them shutting down knock knock live
Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Apparently nobody.
????????????????????. i dont get it
Your 18 to 49 demographic is wrong. I am 53. And my Mom is 74. Knock knock live and Taxi Brooklyn and Cristela all great shows cancelled. Your demographic age group is set up for only reality tv shows. Believe me when I say cancel all reality shows.
Um…I thought Knock Knock Live WAS a reality TV show. That’s what people have been calling it, right? So if you say “cancel ALL reality TV shows,” you’re telling TV networks to cancel KKL right along with the rest. Besides, not EVERYONE in the 18 to 49 demographic cares for reality TV–maybe a sizable percentage of us, but not ALL of us. I’m in my thirties myself, and I absolutely HATE most reality TV, save for such “Star Search”-esque shows as Penn & Teller’s Fool Us. Otherwise, all the dating shows, Survivors, Big Brothers, etc. simply bore me at best… Read more »
This is a great show. Doing for others. I don’t know who or how they do ratings, but the numbers are wrong. Every time I enjoy a show it gets cancelled. How can any determination be done in two shows. You are wrong. Please keep it on
Marcie your a great person i think you deserve to be directer of KKL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love it and it made me cry to see other people in need are getting help! Good Luck, Ryan. I am pulling for you. We Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE do not cancel!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok now your awesome!!!!!!!!!
RYAN SEACREAST IS THE REAL REASON I STOPPED WATCHING [[IDOL] ON FOX PLUS THE SHOW HAD GOT TO SAPPY FOR ME. IKNEW THIS KNOCO KNOCK CRAPO WOULD BE A FAILURE. GOOD AND COULD CARE LESS. HEY RYAN SIT YOU ASS DOWN PEEPS ARE TIRED OF LOOKING AT YOU SON. BILLY MASSIE ALEXANDRIA,VA. 22314
Jennifer Lopez is the reason I stopped watching Idol, if we’re being honest. And ALL of the judges on AGT are SO nauseating, I wept when they said they”d all be returning and needless to say, have NOT returned to view it.
Knock, Knock live was a cool idea but agree that it should have been there to help people who are ACTUALLY in need. Hoped they’d hit a few apartments.
look both shows are awesome so thiers no reason to start judeging people. i mean if they hadnt shut down kkl jenifer lopez would of been on their. So am i right or am i right?
More reality garbage gone…HOORAY! Now, if only we could be ridda the phony dating/relationship genre…
True that!
I am very disappointed that it has been cancelled. The first show to actually help people and it gets cancelled? That’s crazy..please bring it back and advertise more!!! Sad in Georgia
I didn’t even know it started but I wouldn’t have watched it anyway.
I watched both episodes and was mildly entertained.
I think it deserved a chance to catch on at least!!
It wouldn’t have mattered whether they promoted it OR NOT, it was a stupid idea, it alienated anybody who lives in an APT. (a large % of the U.S.) and an all-around stupid idea for a show. Glad it’s gone.
First time I even heard about this show. FOX should realize, no promotion = no ratings!
I saw quite a few promos for this show, even during the limited times I watched FOX.. Still I wasn’t interested in watching it.
They had a lot of advertising. All those ads…wasted…bye bye, money….
