Sad Kyle XY news. Though the show has been a big success for ABC Family for most of its run, the network has decided to cut Kyle XY short after three seasons and 43 episodes. Understandably the TV show’s many fans are very upset about the cancellation and are hoping that the series can continue in some way.
Though it’s very rare that fan campaigns can change a network executive’s mind, it can happen. Recently, the executive producer of Friday Night Lights said he believes the show has survived in large part because NBC has recognized the passion of its audience. If nothing else, Kyle XY fans are certainly passionate. We’ve created this page to keep track of the ways that viewers can show support for Kyle XY.

Essentially, the most important thing to a network is for as many as possible 18-49 viewers. The more that watch, the more money the network can charge for their advertising. Watch every episode on TV — live, if possible — and encourage others to do the same. Perhaps one of them is secretly a Nielson family!
Write the network
Express your passion for the show but be respectful and polite. Everyone responds best to courtesy. E-mails are nice but personal snail-mail is even better. Some fans are sending packages of Sour Patch Kids while others are sending postcards with “Viz Allati” (from season two) written on them.

The actors and actresses are fabulous. I really look forward to this show every week and can’t imagine Monday night without KYLE XY. Huge fan of the show. And I understand, if you have to cancel, then fine cancel. However, as a fan of the show, that was a pretty bad way to end it for all the fans. What was aired was a season finale and certainly NOT a series finale. Nothing was resolved and we were left with more questions. That , IMO is now way to treat the fans of this show who watched it faithfully for all the seasons it ran for. I am not your typical fan base, but I ended up enjoying Kyle XY since day one when my children started watching it. I can say that this is by far the worst ending for any show I have seen to date. So many questions abound now–even more than there were when the show started tonight. Instead of having questions answered it only added MORE questions. Save The Tub! I can’t believe what has happened to one of my favorite shows! I hereby boycott ABC Family and will continue to until the show returns or they find some way to make it up to us. Novels perhaps. Some people are suggesting a film. Can’t see that happening but…
They have novels already. Why not is what I say.
My wife and I have been fans of Kyle since it first began. We have seen every episode at least twice and are upset to hear that it has been cancelled. We have grown children in Bend and primeville as well as Salem who also are fans and watch this show. we would like to see this show continue and would hope the producers would bring this show back.
Cassidy said to Kyle, “I’m your brother,” and Kyle backed off. Not only was that a horrible way to end a good show, it’s not even possible. Kyle’s mom was the same as Adam’s mom, but she died in childbirth long ago. Cassidy’s mom is still alive. Therefore the last sentence of the show isn’t possible, and Cassidy was lying. The ending to the last show was so stupid, i need to know more!!!! and this is one show that must! stay on the air, Kyle XY makes you want more, and right now thats what we need.
