TVGuide is reporting that NBC has unceremoniously cancelled Las Vegas after five seasons on the air.
Las Vegas debuted on September 22, 2003 and was touted as actor James Caan’s first series regular role on television. The Academy Award-nominated actor was cast as the Montecito casino’s Head of Security, ‘Big Ed’ Deline. Others in the cast have included Nikki Cox, Josh Duhamel, James Lesure, Vanessa Marcil, Molly Sims, and Marsha Thomason.
Caan left the series last year to return to his movie career and Cox was cut from the show in a cost-cutting move. Caan was replaced by Tom Selleck and it was hoped that the addition of the veteran TV actor would help revitalize the series. It didn’t and, coupled with the series’ move to Friday nights, the ratings dropped significantly.
Last year, Las Vegas was one of the earliest NBC shows to get a renewal notice. What a difference a year can make.
NBC has opted not to renew Las Vegas for season six. Unlike Friday Night Lights, Vegas apparently doesn’t warrant shopping to other possible outlets and fans of the series are left with a cliffhanger. The last two episodes aired last Friday and was first in the ratings for both hours, Unbeknownst to viewers at the time, it was likely the last time we’ll see the staff of the Montecito. Stay tuned! 
I’m so very mad and upset that I just rewatched everything episode of lasvegas not remembering that it ended so Abruptly and left everybody hanging and disappointed that it got cancelled before they finished out the story plot and now I’m just as mad as I was when it ended years back leaving me hanging again and not knowing how everything turned out !! You need to start the show again and I’m sure the cast still looks young and can be started right where they left off !! Please please please

I agree..I just rewatched it this weekend. It was getting a little silly near the end but at least do a reunion show and tell us what happened with the baby and the marriages and give us some closure…GEESH! All of the actors are still around. James Caan was already out of the picture any way as I know his health is not so good. But Tom Selleck seems to be spry as ever…LOL
NBC, You need to bring back this series, Las Vegas was a big hit and still is and the way you ended this show is just wrong I will start a boycott against NBC and I’m sure you will lose alot more ratings now a days with social media out there than you think you did back then
And bring back some of the actors and actresses it would be a big hit I love that show

It was ridiculous how they ended this show and than at the end of the season finale it said to be continued, really
They were cancelled right after this episode unknowingly and they had every intention on returning the next season but nbc cancelled the show without letting the viewers have there last season to find out how it all played out and they just left us all waiting for the next season to start which never did and because it didn’t come back they left millions of Las Vegas show fans very upset and left us without an ending to allow us to say good bye , instead they left us hanging with questions and no answers and they owe us that… Read more »

I enjoyed watching Las Vegas during the pandemic. I watching the ending twice and I wanted to know what happened to everyone eith the cliffhanger. Does the video set solve the cliffhanger? Really need to know.
I think we need to start a protest against NBC to bring this show back, the way they ended it was just flat out wrong

I don’t normally do all caps, but… HOW IS THIS SERIES NOT AVAILABLE TO STREAM ON HULU, or AT LEAST the throwback section of NBC’s app. I’m not even asking for new episodes, I just wanna stream the old ones every now and then… how is it that that failed attempt to reboot Knight Rider is on NBC’s app in 2018, but not a show that lasted 5 seasons and was in syndication on TNT for a few years after. IT MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL, and I apologize for yelling.
It’s on Amazon Prime for part of it and Hulu for all of it. Watching it now
Bring back Las Vegas, please, pretty please It’s light hearted, with great personalities that I really miss. There isn’t anything else that can replace it, so please let’s get this this going again
I just finished watching the 5 seasons of Las Vegas again, I still hate the ending, they could have given their followers a decent ending! They could do a reunion movie & tie up loose ends – anyone ever consider that?
They would have and they wanted to but got cancelled very abruptly they had every intention on a season 6
I just finished watching this outstanding series and 8 years later I’m still pissed off about NBC’s lousy, lowlife cancellation.
Agreed, just another example of how money is all these t.v execs care about. Couldn’t make one more show to tie up the loose ends for the fans who watched for five seasons. Shameful

At least have a 2 hour final special for a series that your audience has followed for 5 years, what, 106 episodes.
Yes bring bk las Vegas me n my fiancée love this show and watch it together and in fact we decided to come to Vegas in April of next year to get married but we wld love a sequel or movie to c what happened to our favorite characters.. I watched this show when it was actually on TV w my dad but never got to finish watching it w him so my man watched it all w me after I lost my dad this year..
