TV show description:
This romantic comedy takes an unconventional look at the lives of five young, ambitious African Americans. The series centers on a married couple, an engaged couple, and a single sister who all take courageous steps as they navigate life, love, and matrimony.
Stacy Lawrence (Nadine Ellis) is a successful pediatrician who works hard and loves even harder. Committed to her fiance, Charles Whitmore (Bert Belasco), and their growing relationship, she has every intention of making it down the aisle. Yet, the idea of marriage has her on edge — so much so that she has yet to pick a date.
Charles is a man’s man who takes pride in his work as a self-employed contractor who remodels historic homes. He knows how to keep the good times rolling with his comedic perspective on love. Kita is his younger sister.
Tasha Woodson (Joyful Drake) is Stacy’s younger sister. She’s married to Jamal Woodson (RonReaco Lee) and is the mother of six month-old twins. Tasha is also a former party-girl turned housewife. Life isn’t always easy, but it’s always fun as she is forever plotting her next big get rich scheme.
Jamal is a smart, savvy, do-gooder who has decided to use his law degree to better serve his community — rather than jump on the partner track at a big corporate firm. As he and Tasha embrace the trials and tribulations of raising twins on his lean salary, his eye never waivers from the prize — the love he has for his family.
Meanwhile, Kita Whitmore (Erica Hubbard) is on a “man-cation” and enjoys being single. Charles’ younger sister is sassy, flirtatious, and a proud employee of the DMV. She is one woman who isn’t looking to settle down just yet.
Episode #55 — Full House
We learn if Crystal will give Rashad a special gift for her birthday, Kita and Troy are destined to ‘stay together’ and Charles, Stacy, Jamal and Tasha can live under one roof before killing each other.
First aired: April 29, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Let’s Stay Together TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
I absolutely loved this show! I wish it would come back. It bothers me that almost every positive black show gets canceled.
PLEASE BRING THE SHOW BACK , I LOVE IT.
Really!!! Why would u cancel this show? I loved the whole cast. They were black working people with professional jobs. All the other foolishness on n you cut this show. It was Better than some of the other mess on. Blah BET!!!!
I was a fan will miss a great show
My husband and I love this show!
Love this show – sick and tired of reality shows – BRING IT BACK
Amen to that!
I love let’s stay together and I hope it comes on for more seasons to come
Please do not cancel the show. There are not that many positive African American television programs that are being aired. Unfortunately, Reality Shows has taken over and I find it all to be “TRASH”. Hollywood Housewives, Honey Boo Boo, Dancemoms, Duck Dynasty and the list goes on.
I LOVE THE POSTIVE I ROLLS THE ACTORS BETRAY. EVERYBODY LOOKS GOOD AND FOR THE MOST PART WORK SELF EMPLOYED JOBS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
I will patiently awaiting the return of Let’s Stay Together. It is a great entertaining show. Please do not cancel it.
