Lucifer will return to FOX on September 19, and the network has just released a new preview teasing the new arrival to the series. The first season ended with Lucifer making a big discovery. The “Who Escaped Hell?” preview teases that discovery. Check out the preview below.
His mother will play a huge role on the series during season two, and her arrival will shed light on the background of other characters as well.
TV Line shared the following spoiler from Joe Henderson, the man behind the series, recently:
“You will have hints of the Maze backstory, but Season 2 is more about moving Maze forward and having her figure out how to assimilate on Earth if she can. What we will dig into very much is her relationship with [the fellas’] Mom (played by Tricia Helfer), back when Mom was in Hell and Maze was the chief enforcer. A lot of fun will be had with Mom being back on Earth and Maze maybe wanting to finish what she started.”

I have totally enjoyed watching Lucifer. I am a devoted Christian and God is my life. This has been funny, and entertaining. I even watch the episodes I miss on demand! I do ask to please please not make comments putting “dad” down or mocking Him anymore . You can do this show without making mistakes like that. Thank you !!

I am extremely excited for season 2 of Lucifer! My boyfriend is, too. He’s asked every month, “When is Lucifer coming back? It wasn’t canceled was it?”. So now I get to tell him we can start watching again September 19th. The show wasn’t what I thought it would be. Really glad it was different and better than expected.

I love this show I don’t understand why people want to cancel it because it’s not anything scary really I like it my kids love it too it’s not telling me to believe in the devil or anything like that it’s just seems like he’s here to have fun and enjoy life and trying to redeem himself in his father’s eyes like everybody else on this Earth if you believe in that type of spiritual thing which I do
My husband and I watch this show together as well . We enjoy the humour and of course “Lucifer” plays his part wonderfuly. Not too hard too look at either.
LOVE this show! One if not the only show that both my husband and I love to watch together. Love the actors/characters, the witty comments are hilarious! Dish satellite no longer affiliated with Fox so we are desperately trying to find an alternative before the season premiere.
I read where a million moms want this show cancelled. Well ladies, just keep your little darlings away from the TV. Not all TV is about entertaining your children. I monitored what my kids watched and so can you. Love this show. It is a refreshing change to what else is on the tube.

I love this show and was on the edge of my seat by the end of the last show of the first season! I have been waiting somewhat patiently for the start of the second season and it’s finally here, almost! The acting is excellent and so is the story line. This is a hit show in my book and hope it continues on for many seasons!
I love this show. The human element is very well played. Please don’t stop the show. I rarely watch tv and when I finally find a series I like it is cancelled within a couple of seasons. The actors portray the parts so well, you feel as if you are there with them. The emotions and humor are wonderful. Thanks for the fantastic show.!
