TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Should definitely NOT be canceled
Love it! Do not cancel it please… Totally love the way Lucifer talks and the way he looks at the detective. I would really like to see what will be going on between Luci ang Clore, can’t wait to watch the next episod. Everyonr is sooo cute and lovely in this show!
The writers did make it very clear that no matter what happens between Luci and Chloe their friendship would remain intact. Luci looks so happy when he is with Chloe so hopefully they’ll begin to let their barriers down with each other. We finally got to see why Luci is afraid of his mother and I just loved the way Amenadiel looked at her when she told Luci that he wasn’t feeling enough(final scene). It’ll be interesting to see whose side Amenadiel is on.
The great thing about the Luci-Chloe dynamic is that we have two characters who genuinely like each other; they’ll argue but they’ll make up. While we know that Luci doesn’t give up I think that at this point in in life his friendship with Chloe is more important than the sex or the romance; he’s willing to wait for Chloe. He was devastated when Chloe told him that she didn’t need him anymore. Chloe has her barriers up but when she let Luci take Trixie to school it shows a great deal of trust. Luci, I don’t think has figured… Read more »
the boy gets the girl haha I think so too~
Loved the interaction between Luci and Trixie and I can just picture Luci giving Trixie driving lessons. We need more of Luci and Trixie. If Luci and Chloe were to have children Luci would be the indulgent father and Chloe the disciplinarian but he certainly would shower them with the love he never received from his parents. As for Amenadiel have the scales finally dropped from his eyes regarding Mom? He is at the point where he is going to have to make difficult choices: does he side with Luci or Mom? I think the sword stopped flaming, not because… Read more »
Love this show. it opens up a whole different world of thoughts.
I love the way the writers relate each episode to a previous one and use the crime to explore the human condition.
Since The Voice is still airing on Mondays here in Canada we get to see Lucifer on Sunday. Having just finished watching “Deceptive Little Parasite” Lucifer just keeps getting better and better. Thank heavens we get a Season 3 of this great series.
I love this show. Please do not cancel it. I have few shows that I really get into and this one is so great and different.
Same here
Love the show
I dont like to many shows expecially reality shows
After Chloe saving Luci and Candy talking to her did anyone else notice the expression and tone of voice in Chloe? She seems to have accepted that her and Luci’s relationship has changed and even though Luci is smiling as Chloe leaves there is a sad expression on his face. Our Luci has his work cut out for him if he wants more than friendship from Chloe. She most likely will resume the friendship but her barriers will be back up for a while. The visit of Chloe and Luci to the therapist where she reveals some truths finally lets… Read more »

It’s going to interesting how Luci explains the disappearance of Candy.
Best show on TV just watched all two sessions cannot wait for more please keep this show going as its the best totally engrossed in all the characters. Love this
NO spoilers. Just watched the complete Candy Morningstar episode and it’s worth the wait. This episode shows why Lucifer is the best show on regular TV
No don’t cancel it’s my favorite show.
This one of my favorite shows. Love the dark humor. Only problem with this show is there isn’t enough episodes. I hope this show is renewed for seasons to come.
Today is Sunday and here in Canada we get to watch Lucifer tonight at 7 pm EDT because “The Voice” is still airing on CTV on Mondays. I watched the new promo for “Candy Morningstar” and Mom certainly doesn’t look too happy with Candy being the newest member of the Morningstar family. While there are times I’d like to scold Mom I do hope the writers bring her back for Season 3 as she certainly keeps Luci on his toes.
This one of my favorite shows of all time. Only problem is that there are not enough episodes.
It’s far better to have fewer episodes that are brilliantly written and acted that more episodes that tend to be “fillers”. But I do agree with you in that there should be more episodes in this great series.
I’ve enjoyed every episode of Lucifer since the first one. Great acting, suspense, thrills and pure entertainment. It doesn’t offend me nor interfere with my spiritual following. As a matter of fact I see hope for improvement of Lucifer’s evil ways materializing. I can’t say that for the Lucifer (Satan) described in the bible! 🙂
Luci is slowly evolving into what his name means but he has such a long way to go. Personally I think the end game is to have Luci run the family business so that Dad can retire. I also think that Luci and Chloe will end up together as, out of all the characters they are the perfect match: reason or logic versus emotion or passion. Each has what the other tends to lack and the two of them strike the balance.
