TV show description:
This sitcom revolves around the lives of four young New Yorkers. Two are falling in love with one another while the other two can’t stand each other — at least for now.
Ben Parr (Jason Biggs) is a hopeless romantic and an attorney. By chance, he meets a beautiful and smart young woman named Kate Swanson (Sarah Chalke) at the top of the Empire State Building. Ben and Kate quickly fall for each other and decide to make a date for later that night.
Larry Munsch (Tyler Labine) is Ben’s unrefined best friend and co-worker. Connie Grabowski (Judy Greer) is Kate’s roommate who works as a nanny for Tiffany McDermott (Sarah Wright). Before Ben and Kate get together for their date, they decide to bring Larry and Connie along in hopes that they might make a good pairing as well. Unfortunately, they take an immediate dislike to each other though it turns out that they have a lot more in common that either would want to admit.
Episode 13 — After the Fireworks
Ben plans to ask Kate to move in with him and all seems fine until Kate’s high school boyfriend shows up and reveals that due to a clerical error, he and Kate are technically still married, the result of a dare on a trip to Niagra falls many years ago. This makes Ben realizes that there are plenty of things they don’t know about one another and they need to slow down.
Connie’s dad is getting married to a woman Connie hates so she invites Larry to the wedding as a fake date so her parents can freely be critical of him. But to her surprise, her dad likes Larry and he defends Connie to her new stepmother. Both Larry and Connie are rattled by the fact that they have some feelings for each other. However, things get complicated when Tiffany who is getting divorced, looks for comfort in Larry and kisses him and Connie witnesses the moment.
First aired: May 16, 2011.

I loved the show and i watched these episodes many times. I want it back !! The characters are reminding me on someone ..pls bring it back
i have watched many shows but no shows has made me feel the things you are usually looking, they are not far from you. They are close to you, just open your eyes wisely. Please bring back the show!
I really enjoyed watching this show. I looked forward to seeing it every week. It’s really fresh and different from the others. You are making a mistake by taking the show off.
I add my voice to the mix. Canceling Mad Love is a HUGE mistake. I watched only 3 shows a week on TV and Mad Love became the 4th. It takes quite a bit for a show to make my watch list. The others are Big Bang Theory, 2 and 1/2 Men and How I Met Your Mother. Mad Love is at least as good as those shows.
PLEASE DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!! ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why cancel something that works? I really am getting tired of those who have no clue on what people like. I guess you must go on the cheap and have a stupid reality show. I am not the only one who feels this way. Guess it really doesn’t matter, my voice counts for nothing nor does the voices of others. The only thing that matters is the Neilson Ratings, which are far over rated.
Guess I will have to find something elsewhere to watch…
Please don’t cancel the show,… Seriously The Way you guys do Ratings sucks & is incorrect & does not give a accurate description of the ratings the show gets or its popularity,… Jump online and go on any torrent site and you’ll see 1,000’s of people downloading or streaming the shows,… & it’s like that on every site,… 1,000’s of sites with 1,000’s of people downloading or streaming,… So you really need to update the way you use your technology to get more accurate ratings on shows,… You guys keep canceling extremely popular shows without a clue on their popularity,…… Read more »
