TV show description:
A romantic comedy, this series takes a sweet yet surreal look at the life-and-death stakes of dating.
It follows naïve twenty-something Josh Greenberg (Jay Baruchel) on his unrelenting quest for love. With a crappy job, Josh soldiers through one-night stands, painful break-ups, a blind date with a troll, time travel, sex aliens, many deaths and a Japanese penis monster named “Tanaka” on his fantastical journey to find love. His friends and sister help him navigate the nightmarish hellscape that is “dating in your twenties,” as he slowly learns to stand on his own two feet.
Mike Bunk (Eric Andre) is Josh’s confident and daring best friend. He’s everything that Josh is not and has an expense account and an insatiable lust for women. Mike serves as the devil on Josh’s shoulder.
Liz Greenberg (Britt Lower) is Josh’s successful and intimidating older sister. She’s a corporate lawyer with an excellent boyfriend who she still finds time to hit the gym each morning. She spends her free time nudging Josh to get off the couch and get his act together.
Maggie Lee (Maya Erskine) is Josh’s ex-girlfriend and the love of his life. Maggie has quickly moved on from their four-year relationship while Josh is still haunted by her memory (sometimes literally). Only when Josh has started to recover from his breakup does Maggie re-enter the picture, turning his life upside down once again.
Episode #30 — Blood
Josh and Lucy get married as their parents work to transform their unique wedding into a traditional ceremony.
First aired: March 8, 2017.
What do you think? Do you like the Man Seeking Woman TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
This show should have never been cancelled. They needed to give it a chance to catch on.
The people at FOX simply did a horrible job in promoting it. This is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. They need to bring it back. Even though he is now married. Jay Baruchel deserved this to go 9 seasons!!
Really hope that this show goes on to season 4. It’s truly one of the most clever, insightful comedies I have ever seen!
My husband and I love this show. Can’t wait to see the third episode tonight. Really funny without being “stupid/silly.” I really like a lot and hope it catches on with others.
I haven’t seen it didn’t even know it was on. What station was it on.
This program is absolutely HIGHLARIOUS!!!!!!!! Jay Baruchel is awesome as the awkward, wounded ex-boyfriend. I look froward to each episode! Even if this is type casting the combination of actors and writers is outstanding.! This really is outrageous comedy!!!!!!!
