Looks like the “happy” couple are sticking together. FX has opted to renew their Married sitcom for a second season of 13 episodes.
Married looks at a married couple who love one another but are ultimately feeling stuck and unhappy in their lives. A comedy, the series stars Nat Faxon, Judy Greer, Brett Gelman, and Jenny Slate.
The sitcom premiered in mid-July and attracted 1.1 million viewers with a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The ratings fell quite a bit over the course of the season. The 10 episodes ended up averaging just 680,000 viewers with a 0.4 rating in the demo.
Despite the poor ratings, FX has decided to renew the show for next year. Sister sitcom You’re the Worst was also renewed today but will be moving to FXX.
What do you think? Do you like the Married sitcom? Are you glad that it’s been renewed or do you think it should have been cancelled instead?
Love the show…please don’t cancel 🙂
