What’s This TV Show About?
A Lifetime black comedy-drama, Mary Kills People stars Caroline Dhavernas, Jay Ryan, and Richard Short. The second installment of the series (which airs on Global in Canada) features guest stars Rachelle Lefevre and Ian Lake. The story centers on Dr. Mary Harris (Dhavernas). This physician and single mother also operates a mercy-killing business on the side. Season two kicks off eight months after Mary and Des (Short) framed Grady (Greg Bryk) for their patients’ deaths. After his release from prison, Des is happy to re-team with Mary, but she wonders if she was better off without him. Meanwhile, the mysterious Olivia Bloom (Lefevre), presents them with a deadly request that could change everything.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Mary Kills People averaged a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 299,000 viewers. Compared to season one, it was down by 58% and 53%, respectively. Find out how Mary Kills People stacks up against other Lifetime TV shows.

The series is a co-production with Canada’s Global Television, so a renewal depends, in part, on its success with our neighbors to the north. Please, please, please do not cancel the best show I have ever watched on Lifetime. The ratings were probably down the second season due to the fact that fans like myself who were looking for the show couldn’t find it. Lifetime should have done a little bit more promotion so as the fans of the show would have known exactly when the show was coming on. I do believe the show deserves a third season with a little bit more promotion so fans like myself know when it’s coming on. It also shows a different light on death.
I’ve loved watching this series. I finally had to subscribe to amazon prime to watch the 2nd season being it never camw out on Hulu . is love to see what they could do in season 3. Excellent show
Best television show. Des and Mary are terrific actors. I read where Des has gotten many awards and he deserved them. Hope to see season 3 and more seasons.

I think that in the second season has been given too much space to the sexy character of Jay Ryan here really out of place, you should give more space to intense characters like Des and Mary’s sister.

Love Love Love This show!!! I think ratings were down cause nobody really knew the new short season was coming back on. I missed first 2 weeks then I saw it was back on by looking at the guide for something. It really is a great show and the cast is perfect. Renew Renew Renew….PLEASE
