TV show description:
This dramedy revolves around two brothers who problem solve using psychological manipulation. They can tailor a plan to influence any life-altering situation, thereby making their clients’ dreams come true and their nightmares go away.
Their unusual Edwards and Associates business is based on the belief that people’s decisions are influenced by their environment in ways they’re not aware.
A former university professor and world-renowned expert in the fields of human behavior, psychology and motivation, Clark Edwards (Steve Zahn) has a checkered history, which stems from his bipolar disorder. Clark’s academic career imploded when the university became aware that he was having an affair with a 22-year-old undergraduate. He’s still unable to reconcile losing the girl, and tries to focus his manic energy on his brother’s new fortune-making plan.
Ross Edwards (Christian Slater) is a brilliant schemer who’s recently been released from prison after a two-year stint for fraud. He comes up with a business model that he believes can make him and his team millions of dollars. This divorced and incurable ladies’ man often confuses honesty with opportunism. Although his energy is infectious, his tactics can be questionable and his strategies border on the illegal.
Also on their team are:
Latrell Griffin (Cedric Sanders) is a serious and talented young man. He’s from a tough neighborhood and was recruited by Ross who saw a raw and untapped talent for business in him.
Miles Hood (Gregory Marcel) is a geeky trust-fund-baby. He’s a promising behavioral psychology grad student with Clark’s flair for the science and Ross’ general disregard for ethics.
Samantha “Sam” Gordon (Jaime Ray Newman) is an ex-con who Ross met during his court-mandated group therapy and rehabilitation sessions. Sam’s abilities to read people and improvise is impressive and allowed her to work her way onto the team.
Megan Shane (Megalyn Echikunwoke) is an actress who uses her beauty and acting skills to help the team turn their scientific schemes into real world results.
Beth Scott (Katherine Cunningham) is the former undergrad student with whom Clark had the affair. She claims to still be in love with Clark, but Ross wonders if she can handle an actual relationship with his brother.
Episode #13 — Balloon Boy
The team’s latest mind games prove to have dramatic consequences, especially when it comes to repairing the rift between Clark and Ross — and the future of Edwards and Associates.
First aired: September 2, 2014 (first aired in Japan)
What do you think? Do you like the Mind Games TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for another season?
Can’t believe with the amount of drivel they keep putting on tv, something so original and as good as mind games doesn’t get renewed. When I spoke to people about it they had never heard of it, more publicity was definitely required. They missed an opportunity to have a real hit
Should have been renewed
Best show on TV & ABC cancelled it. Should have promoted/advertised it more. We would talk about it with friends/family and no one ever heard if it!!! It was an awesome, family friendly show that educated young & old. America needs more shows like this! BRING IT BACK, PLEASE!!!
This show was intriguing! I loved it! They need to give it another shot!!!
I loved this show. It was something completely different from everything else offered out there. It wasn’t given a long enough chance to get a following. It was cancelled too quickly and deserves another chance.
I thought it was deplorable that this show was cancelled. It was intelligent and intriguing. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was genuinely disappointed and angry when it was cancelled with such a poor opportunity to catch on.
Bring it back!!
This is a great show and should have been renewed. They could at least show us the last show or wrap it up in some way and not leave us hanging. Why do all the good shows get cancelled and all the crap like two and half men still stay on. It was a like Leverage with cons and tricks for the good of others. I love Steven Zahn and Christian Slater.
please air the already made episodes and please renew for more seasons. It is a great show and needs time to attract more audience.
I don’t know where I read it, but I could have sworn I saw that the unaired episodes were going to be finally aired this month. I am still looking to verify if it’s coming back. I know the show is very edgy and has controversially themes. It is very thought provoking, creative and has so many “ah-ha” moments that I absolutely love. I definitely want more shows. The lead acting cast is brilliance and compelling. I do want the show to come back. I’d be very excited to watch again.
I liked this show….needed renewed.
THIS is why I wait till season 2 to watch a show – I HATE getting invested in good shows with good writing with good actors only to see it pulled after 5 EPISODES? Thanks for killing another good one, @ABC!
The show was great
I’m tired of all the shows that are great or have great potential being axed for lame replacements. Mind games was a great show and you know it if you actually watched an episode. For ABC to pull it after only 5 episodes airing was just another stupid decision on their part. At least make the un-aired episodes available for the shows fans. I will never watch a new series on ABC now for fear of something like this happening again.
put this show back on the air or you’ll get Natural Selectioned.

I hate the big bang theory, that’s the one they should of cancelled, just the same
old bull **** all the time.
ugh, how could anyone like that trash?
jeez, and cancel two and a half men, we’ve all had enough of that crap.
******* tv critics, natural selection, fuckers should be shot!
