ABC has renewed Mistresses for a second season. The TV series will return next summer.
Based on a British series of the same name, Mistresses revolves around a group of four women who are in complex and sometimes illicit relationships. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George, Brett Tucker, and Erik Stocklin.
The series drew relatively small ratings over the summer months, averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.8 million total viewers.
It looked like Mistresses would be cancelled but then, ABC extended the actresses’ contracts, an indication that they hadn’t made up their mind yet. The network’s summer shows did pretty poorly overall so they’ll have at least one returning show next summer.

I am so glad that abc decided to do another season of Mistresses!! I loved this show & can’t wait for it to start! I hate when they have new & interesting shows that aren’t the same old type of boring TV that we all watch year after year, & then abc decides to cancel the series before anybody gets a chance to realize how good it really is!! I can’t wait for season 2, I was really upset that they removed the TV show. Just when it was getting good, you stop the show. please bring it back!!!!!!!

My husband really like the show just as much as I do, I hate it when they don’t give shows like that enough time then they keep on stupid shows like my name is Earl which I know some people LOVE!! But I really am glad they are continuing Mistresses~
