USA Network had such faith in their new thriller series, Mr. Robot, that they renewed it for a second season before an episode of the series had even aired on television. Will it be a hit or a flop? Will the execs end up wishing they’d cancelled it instead? Let’s watch the ratings and see.
Mr. Robot follows a young programmer (Rami Malek) who finds himself at a crossroad. The mysterious leader (Christian Slater) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the corrupt and dangerous firm he’s being paid to protect. The rest of the cast includes Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, and Martin Wallström.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like the Mr. Robot TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I hate this show!
This show is up there with breaking bad. in fact, I’d say it is better than breaking bad’s first season by far. I am not some nerd fanboy who cares about the accuracy of the hacking and other nonsense, I care about acting, storyline, plot, twists and cinematography… this show has it all. It has it’s own “feel” and man is it changing from the first episode on. If you dropped out on the first or second episode then you should go back and binge watch it cause I don’t think it is going anywhere anytime soon. It’s clear the… Read more »
I was truly excited about this show. I thought it was going to emulate a 2009 thru 2012 high when hackers were boasting their achievements against corruption. The fact that you added a mask to “be like anonymous” really turned me off because I do support anonymous. I watched the first two episodes and was totally disappointed. The main guy is a decent personality, but does not come off as a hero hacker and that’s not his fault. He’s not the writer. You guys had the opportunity to really make a ground breaking show. For example, Just look at how… Read more »
Why are you looking for a reality hacking type show?! It’s not even close to what it was gonna be about. Stopped watching cause they wear a mask? Oh no not a mask. Clearly you don’t know good shows. What do you watch one of the billion hospital type shows? Or maybe a cop show that’s has a sidekick (perception, mentalist, castle, law and order svu and criminal intent) that all basically falls in love with each other blah blah? This show has none of those and that’s why it’s good. Sad you stopped watching after 2 episodes.
I LOVE this show. It’s already not going in the direction I imagined and the end of episode 8 is like one of those WTF moments that really makes you question exactly what you are watching.
I think there are going to be many surprises along the way and that this show is going to wind up being something special IF it is allowed to progress fully.
It has interesting characters, deep character insight, a lot of relatable internal dialogue and a solid story so far. WAY better than a lot of run-of-the-mill crap coming out.
Dont end this show it just started give it a chance im not a nerd but this is the only stuff i really understand ddos attacks, vps and vpn im into that kind of **** i love it all proxies are fun to do too
The last episode, 7th in the season, was so bad. I can see them heading down hill instantly. The dialogue and timing and acting just got real off all of a sudden. I wasn’t 100% sucked in yet to this show and I’m sure fanatics won’t notice but their writers are dropping the ball. They spent the money shot in the first few episodes and it seems like it’s going to go into irrelevant story lines. Not saying the show will definitely fail but it’s got signs of real bad habits that cause a show to get weak. I really… Read more »
If there were any more dog whistles to entice a left-leaning viewership, the local pound would explode!
Keep this show, I can’t stop watching it. I am a computer geek and understand the lingo.
DNS, IP, Protocols. This stuff rocks and the plot moves fast. Please don’t cancel. LOVE IT!!
I hack therefore I am. I am one of the original unknown “supergeek / hackers” from the 1970’s to present. I also have Asperger’s spectrum disorder, am uber-antisocial (which is why no one has heard of me) and socially awkward. The only reason I like the show is because of the correctness of the geek-talk, mention of IRC channels, network sniffers, rootkit, etc. and the exceptional acting job done by the cast. Except for the drugs, I identify completely with Rami Malek’s character. Kudos to the actors, the director and the cinematographers (the finest in New York, in my opinion).… Read more »
You apparently don’t understand the subtext of the show if you think thats what subtext is.
I’m a resident professor of literature. I’m published, and teach creative writing and philosophy. I understand the complexities of subtext as well as the nature of internet-based debates. Mr. Robot is a show with great potential and hopefully will mature past the first act adaptation.
Yeah me too…and I’m also a super hero, oh and I’m a barista.
WTF is a “mill watcher”? In any case, I’m NOT a “tech person” and even I think the show took a sharp turn towards stupid with the prison breakout sequence…it makes absolutely no sense from either a technical or even a simple logistical standpoint. Reality was bent just a bit too far in this one, it’s as if there are no guards at all at the medium to maximum security facility that the protagonist hacks into in episode 5, absolutely ridiculous. If this is an indication of things to come then that’s it for me, won’t be watching it from… Read more »
Ignatz, it’s “Run of the mill” and then “watcher”. As in, your basic, average tv viewer. Case in point, you.
Mr. Robot: Great show that you need to pay attention to in order to understand. It’s definitely for intellectuals and not the run of the mill watcher…sorry run of the mill watchers :). It’s deep and like most shows, is off as far as reality goes. Hope they keep it…love it!
