TV show description:
Created by Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal, this crime series follows a pair of San Francisco homicide detectives. Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) is a single mother to inquisitive six-year-old Louise (Mimi Kirkland). In addition to work, Terry English (Taye Diggs) struggles to take care of his terminally ill wife.
English and Mulligan work with District Attorney Sonia Perez (Nicole Ari Parker), Inspector David Molk (Raphael Sbarge), and Lieutenant Jim Koto (Ian Anthony Dale), the squad’s no-nonsense supervisor.
The series begins as English and Mulligan are investigating a pair of seemingly unrelated murders. It turns out that both victims have ties to Silicon Valley wunderkind Erich Blunt (Tom Felton).

Terry and Hildy race to close one of their most complex cases. A new grisly murder hits close to home for the inspectors. Siletti learns his victory in court comes with a substantial price.

I LOVE this show. It’s wonderfully creepy, exhilarating, frustrating. More more more….the actors are awesome and their characters are well-drawn, flawed, with lots of secrets and the leads are people I am rooting for, despite the flaws and mistakes..

Blunt was excellent in his role…a scene stealer.

If it was not cancelled, how is it that Tae Diggs is on The Good Wife????? Today he was on the show Kelly and Michael and was promoting The Good wife. Nothing was said about Murder in the First!
He was on Good Wife before….then left to do Murder in the First. Now he is back on Good Wife…..then he will do Murder in the First again. They are on at different times during the season.

Very few shows that both my husband & I like. We both love this one! Great cast. Great chemistry. Have loved Steven Bochco since Hill Street Blues. Look forward to further seasons!!!
