Nashville returned for the second half of season five this week, and the series has added another recurring member of the cast. Katrina Norman from Hit the Floor will appear on the drama.

I am very happy since Nashville is back on Thurs. nights! Miss Connie Britton but they are working around the loss with some other great story lines. Thanks, CMT for renewing Nashville!
“Nashville” is a great show with great music. The loss of Connie Britton was unforeseen, a real shocker and heartbreak just like in real life. What accidental death of a “healthy middle age newly remarried mom of two” is ever not a total shocking, gut wrenching heartbreak and tragedy? Without Connie Britton the show is dead to me.
Great show, thrilled that CMT didn’t let it die, though I was sad to see Rayna (Connie Britton) go. The everyday life that is portrayed, including the grieving process an integral part of life, and has added to the draw of the show. The music is really grand and the writers are doing a great job. Here’s hopes to a long run
I really love Nashville, but not sure how it will survive without Connie Briton. I will continue to watch it though, and see where it goes. I think the grieving process, which does include the kids’ problems, has to be addressed or the show will miss the boat. If it jumped in and everyone/everything was business as usual, that would be enough to make me stop watching. I think there will be more music as things start to normalize. I do hope that Deacon gets to play and not just run the business.
Really not interested in the children’s problems. Would like to hear more music and singing
Still in shock that Connie Britton ‘ s Rayna James is gone, but I am happy that new cast is being added, otherwise the show would grow stale.
