Adult Swim has picked up Newsreaders for a second season of 15 minute episodes. Production will begin in Los Angeles in January 2014.

Newsreaders spoofs newsmagazines and performs extrememly well for the cable channel in the young male demo. The series was created by the Childrens Hospital executive producers Rob Corddry, Jonathan Stern and David Wain, with Jim Margolis as showrunner.
