The first season of AMC’s upcoming drama series The Night Manager hasn’t even premiered, and there are already talks of a second season, Variety reports.
The series is based on John le Carré’s 1993 novel of the same name.
The Night Manager stars Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine, an MI6 agent who goes infiltrates the inner world of arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie). Olivia Colman and Tom Hollander also star.
The series, which is a co-production between AMC and the BBC, has already premiered in the U.K. to massive success. The six-episode first season was so popular, the BBC has reportedly begun talks of a second season with the drama’s lead producers.
The Night Manager premieres on AMC on April 19th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

What do you think? Have you read The Night Manager? Are you watching in the U.K.? Would you like to see another season?
Read the book too long ago to compare with the film — a good thing, probably. Very much like the film and actors, would love to see another season.
After finding the first episode by accident, we binged watched the series! It was a remarkable story, settings, and of course, acting. Brilliant, all of the way. PLEASE keep it coming. Great television series are hard to find.
When I first read about this series, I was definitely interested, but after watching the first 4 episodes I’m THRILLED! This is so much better than any of the summaries or comments describe it. I was very disappointed when I discovered I only had two more episodes and then would be waiting for a year for any more, but I’d rather be waiting a year to see more of the Night Manager than to see 30 some episodes of “Bachelor” anything . . .
