TV show description:
Los Angeles newspaper reporter Carl Kolchak (Stuart Townsend) investigates strange supernatural cases and is haunted by his wife’s unsolved murder.

Head crime reporter Perri Reed (Gabrielle Union) helps Carl but is far more skeptical and approaches stories from a more realistic point of view. They’re helped by photographer Jain McManus (Eric Jungmann) and editor Anthony Vincenzo (Cotter Smith). While Carl tries to uncover his wife’s killer, he’s watched closely by FBI Agent Fain (John Pyper-Ferguson) who believes that Carl murdered his wife and made up the bizarre story to cover his tracks.

Based on the 1970s Kolchak: The Night Stalker series that starred Darren McGavin.
