ABC has decided to revive Nightline Prime and have put it on Saturday nights. Will this news program bring in better ratings than reruns and movies? Will it become a Saturday staple like CBS‘ 48 Hours or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Nightline Prime TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
Nighline stories are fluff. Miss the Ted. Koppel hard news stories. Now that the political election races are here you have a contribution opportunity. Interest sories are fine but there should be some balance.
I LOVE Nightline And would love it on more. Wiah it was earlier tha1230 pacific. I loved it when it was right after the news. I DVR it in case I miss it.I Don’t watch the shows like 20/20..shows about someone is murdered or where they go through what happened etc. Love Nightline & 60 minutes. Where you learn about things.
