TV show description:
This cop show follows a half dozen diverse rookies of the New York Police Department as they learn and patrol the gritty streets of upper Manhattan.
Jennifer “White House” Perry (Leelee Sobieski) is a former college volleyball star and Marine MP in Iraq who has a take-charge attitude. Ray “Lazarus” Harper (Adam Goldberg) is the oldest rookie of the group. As a former police news reporter, Lazarus has better inside sources than most seasoned cops
Tonya Sanchez (Judy Marte) comes from a family with a criminal history. Ahmad Kahn (Tom Reed) is an Afghani native who fought his way to freedom.
A fourth-generation police officer, Kenny McClaren (Stark Sands) has great instincts but had qualms about joining the police force. And finally, Jayson “Jackpot” Toney (Harold House Moore) is a young basketball legend who squandered his opportunity in the NBA.
The rookies’ demanding Field Training Officer is Daniel “Yoda” Dean (Terry Kinney) — a case-hardened, unsentimental veteran of the force who emphasizes basics and holds each cop accountable for their actions.
And finally, Sergeant Terry Howard (Felix Solis) rounds out the team. He’s a no-nonsense plainclothes officer from the Gang Intel Unit, who trains the rookies on how to keep the gangbangers at bay.
With their unique backgrounds, personalities, and various reasons for being part of the NYPD, the new cops make their share of rookie mistakes as they figure out how to relate to their boss, each other, and the people they have sworn to protect.
Episode 13 — Turf War
Lazarus and Tonya must convince tenants to evacuate their condemned building before the wrecking ball arrives. Meanwhile, Kenny and Ahmad try to find a pickpocket among a group of vendors, and Jackpot and White House patrol a street ball tournament.
First aired: 08/11/12

Just like everybody says they always cancell the wrong shows. Put it back on it’s really a good show…………………………..
Finally a show with real actors and a plot. Put it back on
It was a great series with lots of diverse characters. BRING IT BACK
HAHA! I LOVE being right! I knew when the show aired its first episode it would be canceled. It can’t compete with Blue Bloods even though they were on different nights. LMFAO!!!
I loved this show! DeNiro needs to fight for this one, hard. Can’t believe they keep those mindless reality shows geared to brainless twits and cancel a good quality drama. Terry Kinney in an amazing actor! Reconsider bringing this back and give it the promotions you give the stupid shows!!!!
I thought it was a pretty good show. I don’t know why they cancelled it. The shows that should all be cancelled are all those dumb reality shows.
give the show a chance. hard to find it on the TV
Very u[set CBS canceled this show. Why do they cancel all the good shows and leave the garbage? Please, CBS, reconsider.
The IS a great show!!! CBS, in case you occasion to notice or rethink this decision. Great complex characters, love the diversity!! Why cancel this one and leave garbage like Two and a half Men for instance. smh
I can not agree more. Shame on your CBS!
I agree! This is a great show. To cancel it is moronic!
This is a great show. Please CBS please really considr
Why the hell ever start watching a series anyome? CBS has become NBC _ cancelling s ahows after only and episode or 2. I LOVED this show! I’m just going to start taping every news show for a few weeks & if they keep them on, I’ll start watching. No poit in investing emotionally in a series if it goes away – with no warning! I am sick of this. Re-runs of CSI Miami rate higher than this? COME -ON!!!
Love it when a series isn’t given a chance. CBS does it again!
You are stupid CBS. Reconsider your decision please
