What’s This TV Show About?
A Cinemax horror drama from Robert Kirkman, Outcast stars Patrick Fugit, Philip Glenister, Wrenn Schmidt, David Denman, Reg E. Cathey, Kate Lyn Sheil, Julia Crockett, and Brent Spiner. The supernatural series centers on Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now an adult, Kyle is determined to find answers, while protecting his hometown, and everything and everyone he holds dear.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Outcast averaged a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 11,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 40% and down by 39%, respectively. Learn how Outcast stacks up against the other Cinemax TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will Cinemax cancel or renew Outcast for season three? Season two aired in the UK more than a year ago so that no doubt hurt the United States ratings. The long delay in airing season two would seem to indicate that this show isn’t a priority for Cinemax. I suspect the show is over. Seems anytime something comes along that’s original and fresh; it doesnt recieve the recognition deserved. I was riveted to my screen. Was so much more story. Huge disappointment to be no more.
I loved this show and this was so mutch cooler than walking dead and they cancelled it i do not understand .and the ending of season 2 left me in the dark n need to see how it ends ans so would the rest of south africa please season 3
I thought Outcast was a great show. I think it would’ve done great if it would’ve been promoted and marketed a lot better. So sad to hear it’s not returning for a third season
I literally could nit wait ta watch outcast each week no sooner did the episodes end each week i was hoping it was time dor next episode..i loved the show n had ta get my fix of non other then..Mr. Barnes n i can’t believe yet again the show i fall in love has been CANCELED…that’s insane!! What away ta let down the fans..cinemax 1st Banshee n now Outcast..heck of away ta win n keep our hearts n have fans..seems like getting use ta a show on cinemax n it airing for new season’s ta find out bout what happens… Read more »
