What’s This TV Show About?
A Cinemax horror drama from Robert Kirkman, Outcast stars Patrick Fugit, Philip Glenister, Wrenn Schmidt, David Denman, Reg E. Cathey, Kate Lyn Sheil, Julia Crockett, and Brent Spiner. The supernatural series centers on Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now an adult, Kyle is determined to find answers, while protecting his hometown, and everything and everyone he holds dear.
Season Two Ratings

Telly’s Take
Will Cinemax cancel or renew Outcast for season three? Season two aired in the UK more than a year ago so that no doubt hurt the United States ratings. The long delay in airing season two would seem to indicate that this show isn’t a priority for Cinemax. I suspect the show is over. What a shame Outcast was cancelled. Here is hoping another network, Netflix, Hulu, etc. will pick up Season 3. Had the same feeling when HBO dropped Carnivale after 2 seasons and left everyone hanging with unresolved issues, relationships, answers.

Is this a joke? Are you really canceling Outcast? I started watching this by accident. There wasn’t any thing that I seen as a advertisement to make me watch until I was looking on on demand. It’ll be a shame to at least see a ending and not a hanger
I really hate when shows get canceled without a series finale, especially when there is a chiff hanger. It makes no sense to cancel a show, especially when it has gotten at least more than one season. After one season there is definitely a fan base that enjoys the show, and shouldn’t be left hanging because the critics or the ratings are not high enough. I loved this show. I started watching halfway through season 1. They could have did a better job on promoting the show. I hope that amazon or Netflix will pick it up.

I’m so sad to hear Outcast was cancelled. It’s hard to find original storytelling these days and nothing on TV is like this show . I will miss this scary good show.

Never fails for me either! I finally find a show or get an opportunity to watch one I’ve been wanting to and it gets canceled and I’m left hanging.
