Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

I have watched this AWESOME show from the beginning. A couple of friends were at my house one night practically every week to watch it with me! If they couldn’t make it one week I’d hold all recordings of it until they could make it over to watch and we’d watch one right after another until we got up to date! I am totally pissed off they were not renewed for season 3. But if they are moving to anther to another channel, I will follow them whoever they go. I love this show! Yes! It’s a great show. My husband and I DVr it. Bc you know, you have to work, and don’t want to miss it.
Crap channels canceling good shows. That ridiculous. How about some advertising for the series??!! No one knew about it. We accidentally happened upon it.

WGN , Ive never ever turned to your channel before The Outsiders. I returned for season 2. Your channel finally has a show worth watching and now its cancelled. I will follow that show to any network but I will never watch a WGN show again. Thank you.

I Love this show! So tired of the networks yanking good shows before any conclusion ! Not just this one but .. Game of Silence , The Family , I’m sure there’s more . With all the horrible shows out there ( Kardashian’s, The real housewives ,etc. you would think that a show with an actual story , and plot , with good talented acting would be kept on longer than this !

I would love to see another series and I have both seasons recorded as of now I cannot bring myself to delete any of them and very patiently waiting for the new series please do not stop producing series
