Though Raising Hope is down in the ratings this season, FOX has ordered two additional installments of the sitcom.
The show is currently in it’s third season on the network and the added episodes will bring the season total to 24. Both of the prior seasons had 22 installments each.
Raising Hope has never been a big ratings success for FOX and the numbers continue to go down each season. Year one averaged a 2.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.04 million total viewers. Last season averaged a 2.2 rating with 4.83 million and the current season has been averaging a 1.7 rating with 4.05 million.
Sitcom star Lucas Neff broke the news by tweeting, “Bad news for people who don’t like Raising Hope. Fox just ordered 2 more episodes! Meaning: 24 madcap Chance adventures airing this year!”
The network recently ordered two more episodes of The Mindy Project and New Girl as well.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Raising Hope? Do you think it’s in danger of being cancelled or will it be renewed for a fourth season? How low can the ratings go?

Great show! The cast is one of the best on TV.
It’s the only show we watch on Fox, other than football and the great football pre-game show.
