A legal drama, this TV show is set in Charleston, South Carolina and revolves around a gorgeous Yankee litigator and a charming southern attorney who must hide their intense mutual attraction as a police sex scandal threatens to tear the city apart.
Jamie Sawyer (Anna Wood) is cool, confident and armed with south side of Chicago street-smarts as she takes on the good ol’ boys in the South. Her handsome courtroom rival is Roy Rayder (Cam Gigandet), a divorced father of two. He embodies the Old South and is the newly named City Attorney — thanks to his influential former father-in-law, Dec Fortnum (Gregory Harrison).
When disgraced cop Lee Anne Marcus (Georgina Haig) hires Jamie to represent her in a lawsuit against the police department, Jamie and Roy discover that Lee Anne is at the center of a sinister case with dire implications for the members of the Charleston PD.
Heading that department is Deputy Chief Holland Knox (Michael Gladis), a family man who radiates integrity. Working under him are cocky and corrupt detective Terry McCandless (Shawn Hatosy) and Preston Cruz (Adam Rodríguez), Jamie’s well-respected boyfriend — a man who might not be all that he appears.
Helping Jamie is her confidante and paralegal, Vi Briggs (Kim Wayans), an expert at digging up case-winning information.
As Jamie and Roy spar in and out of the courtroom, dark secrets simmer behind every door and threaten to tarnish the genteel facade of seductive Charleston.

A verdict is reached in Lee Anne’s sexual harassment case against the Charleston Police Department. Meanwhile, Jamie and Roy decide whether or not they are ready to take the next step in their relationship.

Fell in love with this show almost immediately. I would definitely continue to watch more seasons! CBS or even Netflix should continue the show.
Just finished the last show of Reckless on Netflix and wow it was very refreshing then I see its cancelled. I’M CRUSHED I was looking forward to the next season. Real bummer.
I LOVED this show can not put it down had to finish the whole entire season. It makes me sad to know that the show cancelled. Please bring this show back. I t needs more exposure because i did not even know about the show until i saw it on Netflix. Bring it back i will be front and center every night it comes on waiting to see what is going to happen next.
Watched the whole season on netflix! My favorite show I can’t believe they cancelled this!!!! Such a amazing show! I never heard of it until I saw it on netflix! Hope this gets picked up for season 2!! Netflix should pick it up! Ahh driving me crazy bring it back!!!
Just watched the entire season on netflix and LOVED it! If it didn’t do well it’s because it wasn’t advertised enough. I never even heard of the show until it was recommended to me by netflix. Rethink a season 2 please!
Just watched the first season of Reckless on Netflix and I could not believe that it was cancelled. I
think devastated us what I’m feeling. What a great show that kept you on your seat with all the twists and turns. The finale left me in shock. I just want to watch more. I hope they bring it back I can’t imagine how insane the second season would be!

I hope the network reconsiders the cancellation of the show Reckless. I have enjoyed the show tremendously. This show is one of the best I have seen in a long time. Please bring it back.
