Reign will rule for at least another season. The CW has announced they’ve renewed the historical TV show for a fourth season.
Today, the network has also renewed 10 other series, including Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Arrow.
Based on real historical events, Reign stars Adelaide Kane as Mary, Queen of Scots. The series follows her tumultuous life at the center of 16th century European politics. Torrance Coombs, Megan Follows, Toby Regbo, Celina Sinden, Caitlin Stasey, Anna Popplewell, Jonathan Keltz, Sean Teale, Craig Parker, Rose Williams, Rachel Skarsten, and Ben Geurens also star.
Reign is currently in the middle of its third season, but its ratings have declined somewhat. So far, the season is only receiving around 1.04 million viewers per episode. Additionally, it looks like star Torrance Coombs may be leaving the show after this season.
New episodes of Reign return on April 25th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The other CW series renewals for the 2016-2017 season include the following: Jane the Virgin, The Flash, The 100, The Originals, iZombie, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

This is my favorite tv series and I don’t want it to be cancelled. We will miss our sweet young king, but I think lots can still be done. Is there any chance he will return and make this another GREAT season?.we’d love it!!
I LOVE this show! Never miss an episode. I record about 20 shows a week and when I see Reign in my DVR list, I always watch it first. Can’t get enough. I’m thrilled they are giving us another season!

YES! I love this series. The fact that the storylines are based on historical facts makes it especially intriguing. Love the costuming as well as the music used giving it a more current feel.
I hope to see this show keep on going. It has me waiting in anticipation every episode. I’ve talked to a lot of people I know and not a lot of people know about it. Maybe it needs to be advertised more. Get the word out, cause I would hate to see this show end

I’m thrilled that the show has been renewed for another season, I love it! I usually watch shows on demand. I wonder if that might explain the low numbers of viewers…?!
The long waits between seasons has caused me not to really follow any series which works this way very seriously. I used to be an avid CW viewer but the time between seasons is just to long. It lost my attention for that reason, not because there was anything wrong with their shows.
Moving it to Friday was 1st indication I was done watching. Then when Francis was killed off, that was strike 2..and now if Bash is leaving it would be strike 3..(had I still been watching that is)…
