Last season, Revolution was the highest-rated show on NBC but the ratings fell throughout the season, even with The Voice as a lead-in. What will happen now that the show’s been moved to Wednesdays? Will it see a third season or will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.
Revolution revolves around the Matheson family and others who live in a world where there is no longer any power. The cast includes Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Zak Orth, David Lyons, JD Pardo, Stephen Collins, and Elizabeth Mitchell.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/9 update: NBC has cancelled Revolution after two seasons and 44 episodes.
5/22 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The first season of Revolution averaged a 2.6 rating in the demo and 7.21 million viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the Revolution TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for third season?
Once again, NBC sucks us into a series and then leaves us hanging. At least give us one more season and wrap things up. I guess I will NEVER be watching any new network series again. Seems none of them, especially NBC and FOX care about their viewers.
Revolutions is awesome, great actors, great story, keeps me on the edge of my seat. I have never missed one show and looked forward to it every week. The finale kept it open to more stories. Please Keep it on the air. Your ratings coming from Nelson box or whatever you use can not be showing the actual number of viewers and the love that so many viewers have for this show. This show is quality, good scenes, good setting, feels like you are really there. Think of all those you don’t have those boxes, like me and my husband,… Read more »
So sad Revolution is cancelled. It’s a show we look forward to every week and there’s nothing like it on tv. To have it end the way it did is just wrong. So unfortunate!!!!
This is what happens when you keep changing up time slots and go on mid-season breaks. Don’t blame the show or the viewers, blame the network.
Renew & give it a better time slot where it isn’t getting put off for weeks at a time because of special shows like the Olympics & whatever else. Of course some people lost interest. They had to find something else to watch while Revolution was on hiatus more than once this season. Bring it back at a better time/day. Treat it better & the ratings will be better.
damn it all the good show that I watch are cancelled. you can’t leave us with the ending that you did on wed. I have watched and dvr it ever since it aired so I could watch it later. so bring back the show.
Please don’t cancel Revolution. This is a great show. It seems like all the good shows get canceled. You move its time slot to another that already has an established series and then they don’t have a chance. Please reconsider. Give them a chance and a better time slot. Long live “REVOLUTION”.

Revolution has a great story line. In my opinion it was never given a chance. Give it a permanent time slot and ratings will go back thru the roof. Honestly I was never sure if the show was going be on or not. There were so many breaks in the series, its no wonder ratings dropped.
I’ve been wrapped into revolution since the first season and could not wait for the second season. Even when the show changed its days to Wednesday I remain faithful to the show because it was good. It always got me on the edge of my seat. And the season finale of the second season was awesome. Please renew this show for a third season I can’t wait to see what happens next. Plus I can’t wait to see Rachel and Charlie Matheson ooh la la!
Air the show back on Sunday nights at 9 pm and the ratings will go back up……

What am i gonna do now?n They could at least tried to make it end
I vote for the renewal of revolution. Since the beginning my mother and I have been devote fans (or should I say obsessors ). Every Wednesday we would sit together an gasp and laugh. This show brought me and my mom closer together. Week after week we were left wondering what was next. We would look forward to Wednesday to see the newest shocker.
Again…I still can’t figure out NBC……..Cancel revolution? What are you smoking? Or maybe you should smoke something…….Incredible that you do this! WAKE UP NBC and renew this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
With the little patience networks show these kinds of series I’d say they’re all probably smoking meth. They really need to slow down and take a good look at things, a little weed might not hurt either.
