Are you ready for even more of Archie and the gang? It looks like the Riverdale TV show is preparing for a full second season on The CW. The updated Archie Comics-inspired drama series got an early renewal back in March, but no episode order was announced at the time.
Riverdale stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews. The CW cast also includes Luke Perry, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Mädchen Amick, Marisol Nichols, Casey Cott, and Madelaine Petsch.
Spoiler TV reports the Riverdale season two production dates production dates have been scheduled from June 22, 2017 to April 1, 2018. That schedule tracks with a 22 episode installment which would likely premiere this fall.
The first season of Riverdale is currently averaging a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic and about 1.05 million viewers. While those ratings may seem low, Riverdale ranks sixth among the 16 CW TV shows we’re tracking for the 2016-17 television season. From that perspective, the full season order makes sense.

That show is just a pathetic cliche ridden Pretty Little Liuars but with no fun, and no fashion. The only good thing about it is Cheryl Blossom, but she is not enough to save this show. Its just posted a season low, and I am sure this will be its last season, The CW should really think about actually picking up some bette3r shows then struggling to survive with all of these loosers.
Love this show! Can’t get enough of it so glad it is coming back for another season. It’s like a mix of Dallas, Dynasty, Melrose Place and 90210 all wrapped into one show with a better drama hook. My friends and I binged watched this in one day on Netflix and fell in love craving for more.
Riverdale has turned out to be a book that can’t be put down. A young man that works for me told me about the show and that all of the original characters were on the show all though they are a little different from the comics I grew up reading.
My wife and I binge watched season one and are looking forward to the October 11th release of season two.
I love this show I watched all the first season in one day and really hope to watch more seasons so I say they should keep on going.

Absolutely love it! My favorite show and guilty pleasure! My girlfriend comes over for coffee on Saturday mornings (we are in our forties, don’t look it thank you!) and this is our “girl time”. The show is awesome. The young girls look absolutely fabulous, love Cheryl’s character and her bitchy comments. The show has mystery, deep dark secrets, the young actors are really good and of course having actors like Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, Skeet Ulrich was what drew me in to watch. You do need more publicity, the show is awesome! Well done, cast, location is beautiful, set amazing!
Absolutely give “Riverdale” a second season. Love the cast! You can tell their hearts are into the characters they’re portraying. Lots of “choke-up” moments!
