Are you thinking ahead to future seasons? Would this group of people stay with this band for multiple tours?
HOLZMAN: I think that will be up to Cameron and the conversations we have with Showtime, but we feel very elastic about it. We feel like we could stay with this band and continue. You could have it that a lot of these roadies end up on another tour. You could have it that they end up in another tour. I think it would be fun to mix it up. I can picture playing it out so many different ways, and I think that’s part of the fun of this show. You could keep this core group of roadies together, but you could have various things happen.
Here is more on the first season of the Roadies TV series, from Showtime:
The series gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of roadies who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. ROADIES chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and pays homage to the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring for the successful arena-level group, The Staton-House Band.

Being raised in a family full of musicians and having had set up full stage equipment since a young age this show absolutely hits home! My family and I love everything about this show. Please gift us another season!

Best show this summer. Please renew!
Renew the show!!!! It awesome!!!! Keep the core together.
Love Roadies. It’s witty/fun/serious & gives a look at how “family” dynamics work woven into the unseen part of the tours of a band. The fabric of which makes any band great is its roads crew. Please bring back fro Season 2!!
Have to renew!!! This show is an absolute gem. I am a music lover and the way this show incorporates bands and showcases talent combined with characters that have quirks, flaws, and just a real connection is fantastic. The show is one where it causes you to think about what matters while staying light, yet the way they lay in music brings real emotion; whether it is simple joy, a sadness, a longing for something more, it just hits home. The show has continued to build and gives such a different feel than any other show that I hope they… Read more »
Great show. Very different than anything else on TV. I hope you bring it back for a second season.
Roadies is one of the best shows i have seen in a long time. I normally just watch movies but i saw a trailer and i like Luke Wilson movies so i gave it a try. I was hooked from the first show. I am a big music fan and its something totally new. I love the constant talent of alternative artists introduced. What is involved with getting a band ready and touring. You fall in love with the characters and their own back stories. Does someone open the door for double D? I need to know. Please do not… Read more »
