Does John Nolan make the grade during the first season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Rookie season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An ABC comedy-drama, The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Mercedes Mason, Melissa O’Neil, Afton Williamson, and Eric Winter. The story centers on John Nolan (Fillion), a small-town guy who, after a life-changing experience, decides to pursue his dream of being an LAPD officer. Now he’s the oldest rookie on the force, and the brass thinks he’s just having a midlife crisis. He’s got to keep up with his younger co-workers (not to mention young criminals) or he’ll risk lives. Maybe though, he can use the experience he’s gained with age, and the determination he has developed over the years, to make a real go of it. Either way, he’s got a secret weapon — his sense of humor.

Please keep and renew The Rookie T.V. show. The show is very good in that it has humor, is heartwarming and serious, with a good cast of actors,which actually fit the characters in the show well. The writers have done a good job and can continue to have a wide variety of different scenarios for all the characters. This show is unique and includes stories about each of the characters, which will always be entertaining. Love htis show – keeps getting better and better. The ‘Captain’ was heartbreaking – there were tears here! Still miss Castle desperately, but this show is a worthy follow up for Darling Mr. Fillion. Please renew this show – maybe with a better time slot = since I’ve read this is ABC’s worst time slot. I will watch no matter what time/day/competition.

The show is so cute, there are new creative aspects like the teaser that goes nowhere. Please don’t exploit West as gay, it just doesn’t work and isn’t necessary.
I love this show! Sad that the Captain got killed off. I look forward to watching it every week, can’t wait to see what’s coming for season 2!
I gave thie last epy an 6 because they killed off the Capt. WHY!?! They bring in a vet. actor and killed her off in the 1st yr.? Unless it was in her contract she only wanted 1 yr. The writer who came up with this should be fired. Boo!
We look forward to this every week. It’s been a long time since there was a show that I insisted on watching while it’s airing and not waiting until I ‘get around to it.’ My family and I LOVE this show!!
