Are you a fan of freshman FOX series, Rosewood? Well, last week’s good news has been trumped by this week’s great news — a full season order. Although it has dropped each week (not uncommon for new series), Rosewood‘s ratings are pretty solid. To date, its season average in the 18-49 demographic is a 1.9. For October 14, 2015, Rosewood ratings fall right in the middle of broadcast network fare.
Billed by FOX as a medical procedural, Rosewood stars Morris Chestnut as private pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. and Jaina Lee Ortiz as Miami Detective Annalise Villa. Rounding out the cast are Lorraine Toussaint, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, and Domenick Lombardozzi. Below please find the FOX press release on the full season order. The press release also includes a description of the next new episode of Rosewood, “Necrosis and New Beginnings,” and teases Taye Diggs recurring guest star role.

HOT FROM FOX…
FOX ORDERS FULL SEASON OF HIT DRAMA “ROSEWOOD”
Next All-New Episode, Featuring Guest Star Nicole Ari Parker,
Airs Wednesday, October 21, on FOX
FOX has ordered a full season of the hit drama ROSEWOOD, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, FOX Broadcasting Company.
“ROSEWOOD has proven to be a real self-starter for us, which is a tremendous feat on this highly competitive night. Todd Harthan, Morris, Jaina, Lorraine and the entire cast and crew have done a fantastic job creating a gorgeous, sexy world that is the perfect complement to EMPIRE,” said Madden. “The upcoming episodes are so compelling as we build out the family dynamics, and with today’s order, we’re excited to explore the world of ROSEWOOD even further this season.”
In Nielsen’s most current ratings, ROSEWOOD is averaging a 2.2/8 among Adults 18-49 and 7.3 million viewers this fall. With all available data to date (including streaming on Hulu and FOX NOW), ROSEWOOD’s average audience for its first two telecasts grew to 9.1 million across platforms.
In the next all-new episode of ROSEWOOD, “Necrosis and New Beginnings,” airing Wednesday, Oct. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) and Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) make it their mission to seek justice for a murder victim who was an ex-con with ties to a Little Haiti gang. Meanwhile, Villa struggles with passionate dreams she’s been having about Rosewood, forcing her to explore in her therapy sessions with Kat (guest star Nicole Ari Parker) why she’s having these romantic feelings for him. Things come to a head between Villa, Rosewood and Kat, which forces an unexpected turn in Rosewood’s relationships with both women.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world’s hottest cities – Miami – new medical procedural ROSEWOOD stars Morris Chestnut (“The Perfect Guy,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Best Man” franchise) as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., the city’s top private pathologist. Brilliant, cool with tons of charisma, Rosewood teams up with the tough-as-nails Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz, “The After”), to uncover clues no one else sees and help the Miami PD solve the city’s most challenging cases. The series also stars Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange is the New Black”), Gabrielle Dennis (“The Game”), Anna Konkle (“Man Seeking Woman,” “Betas”) and Domenick Lombardozzi (“The Wire”). It also was recently announced that actor Taye Diggs (“The Best Man Holiday”) will guest-star in a recurring role on ROSEWOOD, appearing in a multi-episode arc of the series. Diggs’ first appearance on ROSEWOOD is scheduled for November.
ROSEWOOD is from Temple Hill in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Todd Harthan. The series is executive-produced by Harthan, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. Richard Shepard served as director and executive producer on the pilot.

I really like this show and people need to give it time not all shows are suppose to be cut and dry this one has twists and turns and it’s a real mystery of what’s going to happen between rosey and det. Vila and the therapist and how rosey doesn’t look at the victims as guilty he has like magic hands and eyes doesn’t even need to touch the patient lots of times
