Airing on the NBC television network, Running Wild with Bear Grylls follows adventurer and survivalist Bear Grylls — as he takes celebrities on a 48-hour journey of a lifetime — into the wildest and most remote locations the world has to offer. Celebrities featured in season three include Nick Jonas, Julianne Hough, Courteney Cox, Shaquille O’Neal, Lindsey Vonn, Melanie Brown, Marshawn Lynch, Sterling K. Brown, Julia Roberts, and Vanessa Hudgens.
Season Three Ratings

Telly’s Take
Through its ninth episode in season three, Running Wild with Bear Grylls is up over its season two numbers. The show racked up stronger ratings, despite two hiatuses. The third season first went off the air between September 12th of 2016 and May 22nd 2017. After airing just two new episodes, it then took a break between May 25th and September 16th, when it finally closes out the season. Because it performs pretty nimbly, despite unreliable scheduling, I think NBC is more likely to renew Running Wild with Bear Grylls for season four, than it is to cancel it. NBC at fault! Scheduled ‘Running Wild 7-8-18 with Roger Federer’ showed something else and so far has not been rescheduled. NBC does this all the time. Shows do not deserve such a poor network.
