Saturday, September 30, 2012 ratings — After a very busy week of TV show premieres, it was a quiet Saturday night. Aside from the season debut of 48 Hours: Mystery, we had a bunch of reruns and Saturday Night College Football on two networks.
On ABC, the Wisconsin at Nebraska game led the demo with a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.0 million total viewers.
On FOX, the Texas at Oklahoma State match drew second place with a 1.1 demo rating and 3.6 million viewers.
On NBC, it was all repeats — Revolution at 8pm (0.5 rating with 2.6 million) and two hours of Law & Order: SVU (0.8 in the demo and 4.03 million).
And finally, on CBS, the network broadcast two hours of repeats and an original. All three won their timeslots in total viewership. An encore of the Vegas pilot drew a 0.9 rating with 4.2 million. That was followed by a rerun of Hawaii Five-0 with a 0.7 rating and 3.6 million.
CBS finished the night with the season premiere of 48 Hours. That attracted a 0.9 rating with 4.8 million.
What do you think? Will these encores help these dramas on their regular nights or hurt them? What were you watching last night?
