A military action-adventure series, SEAL Team is typically a middle-of-the-road performer when it comes to the ratings. Will that be enough for CBS to want to keep it on the air? Will SEAL Team be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.
SEAL Team stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks, with Justin Melnick, Tyler Grey, Scott Foxx, and Judd Lormand in recurring roles. The drama series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of their country. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. Others who are vital to the team’s success are no-nonsense Ensign Lisa Davis (Trucks) and troop commander Lt. Cdr. Eric Blackburn (Lormand).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: Season three of SEAL Team on CBS averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.92 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the SEAL Team TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
*5/20/21 update: SEAL Team has been renewed but is moving to Paramount+.
Please boost ratings so good.
You are about to lose the audience with all the personal interactions, and much less of the Operations. Need to reverse the emphasis
Show jumped the shark a while ago. Storyline Jason is in Jason is out is old already.
I love seal team, but I wish they would get back to the story lines, that made the show one of the best!
CBS Seal Team Best Actors, Writers, Producers, and Directors on TV.
There seem to be quite a few veterans that like/love this show. that alone should be enough for CBS to renew this show, and being a veteran myself, I think the show is great. I’ve watched every episode and eagerly anticipate the next, but you have to ask yourself; what is CBS’s agenda as they sporadically and unpredictably air the episodes? After most of the episodes, they delay the next episode one, two, three weeks or more. What’s up with that
I love watching Seal Team. I have bought the first 3 seasons and watch quite a bit. Why would you take a show like this off of tv. I knoe there are lots of fans. Will be showing somewhere else or are you flat out cancelling the show. Too bad. I love this show. I can name pretty much all the actors in the show. Please keep it on tv. I really look forwards to Wednesday night because of this show.
Love this show! It makes me want to stand up and cheer…Go USA! Please keep it coming.
This is one of the best shows on TV. Great cast with realistic missions. I like the proper use of Military terms. Should be promoted better. Being ex military I can relate to this series. I hope they renew.
I love watching Seal Team. Yes, it is the best show on TV. One question..why is the demographic no higher than 49? Older people like these type of “real” TV programs (also NCIS an NCIS New Orleans.) The ratings would be much higher.
Love this show!!!!!
It should be renewed. It is the best show on tv. I am ex military and I love the realistic action .
I absolutely love the show. Great cast with great dynamics together.
Something different than cops and medical shows. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
If Seal Team had been promoted like some of the other shows perhaps the ratings would be be. It’s a great show! Deserves more from CBS.
Renew SEAL Team for another season. One of the best shows on CBS!
