USA Network keeps beefing up the cast for the second season of its Shooter TV show. Harry Hamlin is now set to recur in season two of the action drama, based on the Point of Impact novel and feature film.
Shooter stars Ryan Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger. The USA Network cast also includes Shantel VanSanten, Omar Epps, Eddie McClintock, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
Deadline reports, “Hamlin will play Addison Hayes, a mysterious and powerful mastermind whose agenda will collide with Swagger.”
Shooter was renewed for a second season, back in December of 2016. Since then, it has been announced that Beverly D’Angelo is returning, and that Josh Stewart is joining in a series regular role. Earlier this month, Patrick Sabongui, Troy Garity, and Jaina Lee Ortiz joined, also in recurring roles, for season two.
What do you think? Did you watch the first season of Shooter? Do you plan to catch the second season on USA?
Excellent story line. I like the way they incorporated their 6yr old into Daddy’s occupation instead of hiding it from her. Great to see Epps again. Looking forward to season 2
Yes, my wife & I loved the show. Can’t wait for season 2
Yes I loved the show…
Great news for a superior Series! Excellent writing, acting and cinematography. Looking forward to the next Season.
This must be a better paying gig than starring in those adult diaper commercials with his wife.
It’s a good show, I look forward to its return…especially with Jaina Lee Ortiz joining the cast.
