USA Network has pushed the premiere of Shooter to late July due to the recent police killings in Dallas, Variety reports.

The new series stars Ryan Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger, an ex-military sniper who returns to action in order to prevent a plot to assassinate the president. The cast also includes Omar Epps and William Fichtner.

From USA:

In light of recent tragic events and out of respect for the victims, their families and our viewers, we have decided to postpone the premiere date for the upcoming USA Network series Shooter, to July 26.”

Shooter will now premiere on July 26th.
