What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Hulu paid subscription platform, Shut Eye stars Jeffrey Donovan, KaDee Strickland, Angus Sampson, Susan Misner, Isabella Rossellini, Dylan Schmid, David Zayas, Havana Guppy, and Layla Alizada. The story centers on Charlie Haverford (Donovan). A failed magician, Charlie is a con artist who manages some storefront fortune-telling parlors. He and his wife, Linda (Strickland), long to get out from under the thumb of the Marks family, which controls most of the operations in Los Angeles. After Charlie gets hit on the head, he begins experiencing visions of the future. Now, he’s trying to keep from losing his mind, as he pursues a clean break for himself and his family
On January 30, 2018, Shut Eye was cancelled so there won’t be a third season. Could it be revived some day? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize its viewership, we’d need a bona fide clairvoyant to predict whether Hulu will cancel or renew Shut Eye for a second season. While I still need to hone my “cold read” skills, I can foresee this oddball drama scoring a season three renewal. That’s just speculation, though. Since I can’t foretell the future, I’ll keep an eye on the trades and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free alerts on any Shut Eye cancellation or renewal news.

I just binged watched SHUT EYE and it was awesome! The whole behind the scene of the gypsies families was really cool and I was excited to watch each show! Sometimes the ratings do no justice for shows BC there is underground following! Plus not everyone is a NIELSEN RATINGS SUBSCRIBER! BRING IT BACK FOR SEASON 3 HULU!
Shut eye hit me at the right time.. I love the personal sides of the characters and should be allowed to continue to create its magic in future episodes. ♥️.
I did not start watching Hulu until a couple of months ago. I have really enjoyed shut eye and hope it is not all a waste. Please bring back the show. We have Netflix and I prefer Hulu. I have binged watched damages….. not coming back the other is the accident. I am at a loss/ scared to start something new because it will not have an ending or closing to main conflicts.
Bring it back bring it back please… This show had everything I like in a TV series.
