TV show description:
The storyline of this scripted series begins in 1908, when an unexplained event occurs deep in the remote Siberian territory of Tunguska. More than 100 years later, 16 reality-show participants descend on Tunguska — unknowing of the land’s mysterious past.
These contestants are from varied walks of life and attempt to battle the elements (and each other) in a quest to survive the harsh winter and claim a large cash prize. What is initially met with unbridled enthusiasm quickly turns to sheer panic as a series of strange events begin to occur.
The contestants soon attribute the occurrences to ruses set up by the producers, even dismissing the death of a fellow player as an accident.
When a contestant is badly injured and no help arrives, the other players meet the chilling realization that the strange occurrences are not part of the show. With their safety threatened, the competitors must band together in an effort to survive.
The show is hosted by Jonathan Buckley (Jonathan Buckley) and the participants are Carolina (Joyce Giraud), a bartender from Colombia; Johnny (Johnny Wactor), a bull rider from Jedburg, South Carolina; Daniel (Daniel Sutton), a computer programmer from Minneapolis; Neeko, a professional rugby player from London; Natalie (Natalie Scheetz), veterinary assistant from Santa Barbara; Sam (Sam Dobbins), an auto mechanic from Brooklyn; and Esther (Esther Anderson), a model from Melbourne.
The remaining contestants are Tommy (Tommy Mountain), a philanthropist from Boston; George (George Dickson), an accountant from Louisville; Anne-Marie (Anne-Marie Mueschke), a graphic artist from New Orleans; Miljan (Miljan Milosevic), a DJ from Podgorica, Montenegro; Irene (Irene Szuchun Yee), a fashion designer from Taiwan; Berglind (Berglind Icey), a photo journalist from Iceland; Harpreet (Harpreet Turka), a graduate student from Washington, DC; Victoria (Victoria Hill), a sales clerk from Winnipeg; and Sabina (Sabina Akhmedova), a soldier from Israel.
Episode #11 — Into the Oven
Reunited and seemingly safe, the contestants begin to put the pieces together — and encounter yet another mind-blowing surprise.
First aired: September 16, 2013.
What do you think? Do you like the Siberia TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I wish this show would get renewed. I loved it. I watched it every week.
I looked forward to seeing the show. Just had to watch it. Then it was gone. That sucks. Every time a good show comes on it is taken off leaving us with trash like the simpsons and honey boo boo. Siberia was great, different and intriguing.
I loved this show! I need to know what happens!!!! Please!!!
so do i
Everyone I know was watching this series, so with so many people watching it, why would they cancel it? Does anyone know what criteria they use to decide to keep or drop a series? All the stupid programs they have on that they don’t drop , but they drop a good one! Take off The Bachelor or another one of the fake reality show and PLEASE FINISH THE “SIBERIA” SERIES!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going crazy. People probably fell off at the beginning, but the oens that stick through it saw how became, especially towards the ending. It’s not often I find something on the screen scary, but this one did. Bring it back. Please
I watched this show every week…Then I missed the last show….I thought I had missed finding out what happened to everybody..Then I see on here that no one really knows…Come on guys…bring it back
I can’t believe it’s cancelled! Yes it started really rough but it was so good by the end!! I need to know what happened! Bring it back damn it!
Bring back “Siberia”, or make a mini series to wrap it up! It sucks that we are left ha go g! E everyone I know watched it and loved it. Couldn’t wait for the next one! I don’t understand why they cancelled it. Do you think a petition would work to change their mind??????
WTH?!? Why can’t they just do a special 2 or 4 hour miniseries wrapping things up when a series gets cancelled with a cliffhanger like that? I understand Nielsen Ratings…ok, not really, but seriously, the show rocked!! It’s not like there’s a book that fans can fall back on and get some semblance of closure. Millions of people around the world end up on some shrinks sofa for that very reason, try to find closure, perhaps not for a TV series, but surely you’re picking up what I’m laying down. GRRR!
Bring back Siberia at least give us answers!! Ending the
Show like like you did was wrong!!
I want a 2nd season! the show ended leaving me wondering what was going to happen next, so now I’m dying to know. I don’t understand why it wasn’t renewed for a 2nd season. it was a great show! bring it back. pretty please!!!
I think that they should continue the rest of the show at least finishing the plot instead of leaving it at a cliffhanger.
Got to be a second series my little boy will be upset otherwise it is what we look forward to on Sunday night
Fantastic series had me hooked from start, please continue a new series x
Need a season two the ending makes no sense please please love this programme
