Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

Very disappointed! Really enjoy this show and it was honestly getting better imo. If I didn’t alreay watch History, I would not have known about this show due to lack of advertisements. Bring it back!

This is killing series for me. As soon as I find out about a good show and start watching it get canceled. I think I’m gonna go back to movies instead.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed this series is getting cancelled! I just found the series and binge watched the first season to catch up. I randomly came across it. Maybe the ratings have declined because it is not advertised! A&E is the parent company so switch the show over to that station and promote it more.
We watch SIX- however we watch it the next day- it comes on too late- I wish they wouldn’t cancel the show- or maybe have another program pick the show up. SIX is mine and my husbands Fav show out there and we couldn’t wait for season 2. Maybe if they would look at the ratings from a ‘not live’ perspective they would get a true #. Am VERY disappointed that Six has been cancelled. It is a fantastic show. I really would like to know how they rate TV shows. Something is definitely wrong their rating system. Ask them to please change their minds?
I sure hope they’ll tie up all the loose ends before they shut it down and leave it hanging, but if they’ve already got the last 4 episodes in the can, it’ll end badly.
What happens to Bear and his wife? How about Budda’s wife with the gun? How about the girl assigned to take out all the families? How about the guy with the hand injury? How about Michael and the Prince? Let’s answer all the open issues before they shut it down, even if they have to make one additional episode to wrap it up.
The demographic of adults should be 49-79. I’m 64 and disabled. Watching tv is my past time. At this age we don’t go out a lot especially in the evening. When you’re on a fixed income you don’t have the money to do a lot of things. Change the people who who you test for viewing it’s 2018!
Extremely disappointed with the cancellation of SIX. Great characters and plot lines. What is going to be left to watch on the history channel. Has to more than reruns of non history type programs. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!

Oh man, victimized again. After giving it praises, poof they killed it!
Six is a great show and I watch it weekly. I was shocked, however, when Walton Goggins was killed off in the first season. I thought perhaps he would pull through. But it was nice to see his “ghost” from time to time. I would hope that another network would pick this show up. These actors have trained hard and the show tries to be as realistic as possible.
Probably a few reasons for this. First, they killed off the biggest star on the show, Walton Goggins, who probably brought a lot of fans with him. Once he was gone, so were they. Secondly, there are a lot of these types of shows recently (The Brave, SEAL Team, Strike Back), and lastly, this season so far has been pretty slow. I like the show and will stick with it to the end, but if this was a new show and this was the first season, I’d cancel it too.
I am so tired of all these TV programs that have a good storyline getting cancelled just because the ratings are low what about the viewers out here that like these shows or is it the majority wins not all shows are interesting in the beginning and yes some of the story lines are dragged out but eventually it comes to a head and you are taking away that from the viewers that are interested into what lies next so please do not cancel six it’s a great show

Six is a great show why cancel?
Because most of us don’t watch live tv anymore, and networks don’t want to try and get with the times.
