Will there be a fifth season of Sleepy Hollow? Recently, executive producer Raven Metzner spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the future of the FOX TV series.
The supernatural drama follows Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), a patriot who was killed 230 years ago. The cast also includes Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble. Season four wrapped up on March 31st.
After killing off one of its lead characters last season, Sleepy Hollow took a major dive in the ratings. Season four earned a .50 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 1.918 million viewers, making it FOX’s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
Speaking to EW, Metzner said he hopes the show will continue but is prepared if FOX cancels Sleepy Hollow:
I think there are many, many, many stories yet to be told. But if not, I hope that everyone knows that Crane is in a really good place. The moment he has with Diana where they’re walking toward us with this determined step — I hope that fans take that with them as a positive moment that either will be built on or is a great place to leave the series.”

Sleepy Hollow deserves a renewal for a 5th Season and the Television Series is still awesome great super fantastic very cool with or without Nicole Beharie even though She’s missed a lot, but storyline was terrific this 4th Season!
This show provides a wonderful escape from today’s insane reality! I’ve been watching faithfully since Season One Episode One! Season 4 was the best yet! Fox has the ability to snag viewers from the Supernatural fan base! Please keep this show on the air!
I can not live a fulfilling TV life if the evil fox kills off my show. Maybe Abbie can appear from time to time as a spirit or in Crane’s dreams, delivering messages from Crane’s revolutionary compatriots.
Please don’t cancel Sleepy Hollow. Its a Great show and I don’t want to lose it

Please keep Sleepy Hollow on the air!!! I LOVE this show and I LOVE Ichobod Crane. It is my favorite show and I have watched every episode. I also miss Abby, but the new characters are very endearing. Like CW says there are so many more story lines that can be created. It is one of the best shows on TV!
I want it renewed because I enjoy the show. I do miss Abby. I like the new additions though, and actors such as Jeremy Davies are a plus for me to watch the show. I’d love to see him continue as the a villain because he’s perfect for it, like Heath Ledger was as the Joker. Also, if it’s cancelled, I feel closure hasn’t been brought to the stories. The show is no longer what it was with Abby Mills ( Nicole Behari). The chemistry between Crane and Abby was the key to the shows success I continue to wonder why Fox would tamper with this success and think that the fan base could be sustained. It is like star trek w/o Kirk or Spock! Sleepy Hollow was one of my favorite show but I find it difficult to watch any longer as the series has moved too far from its original story. It is called sleepy hollow but now takes place in Washington DC!!?
I think Raven Metzner is absolutely right. I think there is a lot more storylines or story telling that we can get from Ichabod and Sleepy Hollow. I mean Ichabod is marked by the devil, the future version of the little girl witness allows Ichabod and her to go further, and I love this show I’ve watched every episode from the beginning. Please don’t cancel Sleepy Hollow! Find an alternate tv channel or Netflix…? I mean they’re keeping that ridiculous Adam Sandler show on for another season…c’mon really…?!?! we didn’t KNOW S.H. was on the 1st season. What do you mean Ichabod is marked by the devil. I can not handle the idea of no Sleepy Hollow. I can not stand the last season’s villain, it is weird, his facial expressions, mannerisms, they just IRRITATE me.

Please do not cancel this show. This show is enjoyed by my entire family. My boys watch it with me and find themselves talking about it and trying to guess at how the story line will go because of all of the information they already learned wwatvh older episodes or seasons. They are teenagers in a time of a technology takeover. It warms my heart to have this time with them because of your show. Please don’t end it. Please keep it.

If they gave it half a chance people would love this show without Abby. She was an amazing character, but the new ones are good in their own right. It’s a shame.
