At today’s Comic-Con session for Sons of Anarchy, series creator Kurt Sutter told attendees that season five would start airing on September 11th. A big hit for FX, Sons of Anarchy was renewed for a 13 episode fifth season last October. The show was then renewed for a sixth season in February so there’s certainly plenty to come.
Sutter also teased that he’s interested in doing a Sons of Anarchy that would revolve around the formation of the motorcycle club. He noted that he’s discussed the idea with FX execs but didn’t elaborate beyond that.
If a prequel (of some kind) eventually gets made, it would seem like a good bet that fans will finally meet Jax’s dad.
What do you think? Will you be watching season five in September? What would you like to see in a prequel series? How far should they go back?

i liked it better when we only had the summer to wait ( 3 months ) and then our shows started back again, waiting almost a year, my memeory isnt that great, and i just loose interest and then i just wait for the whole series to be over and then i watch it all at once not 5,6,7 years apart !!!!
I agree. It has become easier for me to wait until a non-network series is finished, and then watch the whole thing over a couple months.
Nicee. I really need to catch up on my SOA. I’m severly lagging.
100% cant wait……i feel like a crackhead that needs a fix…hurry up sept.11
