It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.

So dissappointing!! I never missed an episode and was counting on season 2. Great show!
I think the main reason it was cancelled was that the American public was not ready for a show that hit so close to home . It scared most people because of its content and it was creep , but it had great writing . Dylan was a little too bullyish.

How can they cancel a fantastic programme like stalker. How dare they tell us what we can and can’t watch. They should continue with series 2.
This was a great show that should not have been cancelled. I loved it. Another CSI is definitely not necessary. This is sad news.

We were looking forward to season 2. It became a quick favourite for us, and had us raving about the show to family and friends. As much as I enjoy an occasional CSI episode, how many CSI varieties do we need? CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:Las Vegas, CSI:New Orleans, CSI:Cyber. This at least was different and had a great story line.
Loved stalker. I always recorded it since I was never able to watch it the nights it was on. Very disappointed with the cancelation.
