Tanked is now swimming with the fishes. Deadline reports Animal Planet has cancelled the TV show after 15 years.
The long-running docuseries featured Las Vegas’s Acrylic Tank Manufacturing and showcased “exotic, unusual, colorful and dangerous fish in captivity via elaborate aquariums.”
While Animal Planet has cancelled Tanked, it may not be the end for the TV show. Co-host Brett Raymer says the series will continue and he and fellow co-host Wayde King have plans to start their own YouTube series, Fox 5 Vegas reports.

I’m really sad the show is over and I’m also feeling bad about why it happened. It’s a shame they had marriage problems and that those problems lead to the end of the show. I hope it all gets worked out, not just for the show either but also for them personally.
My wife and I really like the show, we bought a fish tank because we liked watching it so much. (Not as nice as the ones they make though). Hope it comes back on another channel or their own YouTube series, Fox 5 Vegas reports, like they said it might.

This is wrong. It is one of my favorite shows and should NOT be cancelled. Its one of a very few shows that is family oriented and therefore NEEDS to stay on the air.
Loved the show. It was starting to lose track of its beginnings and starting to become the Bret and family show instead about those beautiful tanks they created which I loved. Would love to see the show again with more wonderful tanks!
Bring back Tanked and get rid of some of the other stupid Animal Planet shows such as the irwins they need to go there all three pukes they make me sick, animal cribs needs to go that’s a stupid show also bring back dr. Dee Alaska vet whatever happened to that there’s too many new shows on Animal Planet I’m getting tired of that channel anymore need to bring back North Woods law too
I enjoyed “Tanked”. The amount of creativity and innovation was great to watch. Also loved all of the aquatic species.
