Episode 104 — Bernie’s Angels
After having a near-death experience involving a microwave, Bernie decides to turn his life around. He starts being nicer and overly sensitive and Jordan starts to take advantage. Vanessa is still working on finding a good college but she doesn’t want Bernie’s help. Bryana has to learn what belongs in a microwave and what doesn’t since she was the one responsible for Bernie’s near-death experience. In the end, Bernie discovers that Jordan has been using him and he reconciles with Vanessa. In the final scene, Bernie takes back the iPod he bought for Jordan and delivers a farewell message to “America”.
First aired: April 14, 2006.
Behind the Scenes
The series was never a big hit and its last season rated 127th out of 156 shows for the year.
Mac’s untimely death in 2008 at the age of 50 makes the possibility of a reunion show unlikely.
I’m actually working on a spinn off show right now its a good one to.
I really like this show, I didn’t see this, when it was first aired.. I found reruns on BET… glad I did he was great comedian.. He remind me if my uncle.. Later found he had died very sad..i think if it wasn’t for his health it might been on longer.. Wish it would come on other networks.. Like logo or TV land .. They have Andy griffin show in TV land that older show in black n white lol.. I don’t understand how they pick oldies to keep.. RIP Bernie we miss you!!
Bernie Mac was a great show. Loved it. Felt the feelings expressed on it were genuine.
My husband and I loved watching this show when it was originally on. I recently finished watching the entire series again. It absolutely breaks my heartthat I can never tweet Bernie about a specific show or even just tell him how INCREDIBLE he is (was)!! IMHO one of the BEST SITCOMS EVERRRR & I at least appreciate being able to see the reruns!! RIP MR BERNIE MAC SIR, you were a TRUE ORIGINAL & SECOND to NONE!! “WHO U WIT!??!!!”
I just finished re-watching this show and it was amazing! I used to watch it on tv but I never saw every episode or the last one. Anyway, I’m very sad it ended the way it did bernie mac is amazing and so was everyone in the show! I wish it wouldn’t have been canceled. I bet they’re kicking themselves in the butt for it now! Bernie Mac was funny but his show ruined his career
Just try not to run into die-hard fans (Above me)
The people who run Fox must be the biggest ******** in the world, not that they could do anything about it now but cancel the Bernie Mac show! He was one of the funniest people ever to walk the face of the earth, and the rest of the cast Brilliant.
It’s ashamed it got canceled, And I am truly shocked on channel Fox’s rating and cancelation for Bernie mac’s show. He is and was a True legend to society And nobody could ever compare to his humor and love catching personality. He’s was uniquely one of a kind. I will always love And remember his uniqeness and humour, and continue to share his great memories as stand up comedian and actor of his show, and Also nonetheless his family in the show. Fox is definitely kicking themselves in the ass today! I continue to watch his show ever night at… Read more »
