It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I really like this show. It has a refreshingly light touch. Please don’t cancel it so, so another reality show can be put in its place. Don’t mess with the schedule so viewers can’t find it either.

Just found this show on my “on demand” Great show, love the cast. Love the scenery. I’m 46 and I love it!!!! I’ve only watched 2 episodes but I’m hooked.
The Finder, Castle, Haven and Covert Affairs were the only 4 shows I made a point of watching.
My wife and I love this show. We hope that it is not cancelled as it is very unique and has great characters. It should get at least three seasons to see if it can work. Fox did not help it by not having it on every week.
this show grows on you. give some time and it will fly. television is such a copycat industry. think out of the box for once. give this thing some time. don’t replace it with another reality show, some stupid game show or some stupid comedy like everyone else. smart people watch good tv and they have more money to spend than those idiots addicted to reality shows and cheaply produced brainless sitcoms. the same goes for alcatraz…..a very good show that simply needs more time…..thanks
The finder is one of the most original, unique and funny shows to appear on network tv in the last few seasons. The show is quirky and has a lot of heart. Fox would be foolish to cancel this show without giving it a chance to find its audience. Given time, this could be a tentpole show for Fox, which is probably why they geniuses in the executive suite will cancel it.
My wife and I love it, slightly off and totally entertaining. Its one of our recorded series.
We both hope that you choose to keep it!!
Love this show! Give it a chance. Don’t make the same mistake as ABC with October Road and Happy Town. Geoff Stults is great!
This is absolutely the best show on TV. Please give it another chance. Everyone I know is hooked on this show!
My husband and I love this show! I am so sick and tired of shows being dropped after 1 season or less, especially when the networks play games with the schedule. This show is interesting, funny, and the actors have great chemistry. Give it a chance!
My favorite show on tv! Please keep it on!!
Please don’t cancel it I love “The Finder” its such a refreshing show with an intelligent lead character! If they cancel it I will be so upset!!
I love it. Please don’t cancel the finder only to replace it with yet another reallity show. Give it a chance. I have been lucky enough to watch this one from the beginning but in the past have not gottten interested in a show until mid season or so only to have it canceled shortly after because it wasnt given enough time for people to catch for what ever reason.
KEEP IT!! our favorite show this season!!!!
PLEASE don’t cancel The Finder!! It’s quirky and funny and the cast is great!! Walter and the rest are wonderful and I see a lot of room for character growth and of course the list of things he can find is endless!
