It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I love The Finder and I’m surprised that it’s not doing better in the ratings. It is something different to anything else on television at the moment, and I wish more people would give it a chance. I’m sure they would enjoy it if only they tuned in to watch! I am so fed up with tv series I enjoy getting cancelled so quickly. I guess there must be something wrong with me because I seem to enjoy the programs that don’t make it!
Me too!! The show is quirky. I love it. When they switch time slots people get tired of trying to find it.
Hope this show will be back seems like whenever we like a show alot it is cancelled to bad because it is a good show
I also LOVE The Finder and have high hopes it will be renewed. Very creative and keeps you curious and wanting more!!!!
I felt it should have been competitive in the Thursday slot…so sick of all the gossip-gossip-drama-love-breakup drama-gossip in the same slot on other networks.
i love this show and never have the chance to watch it when it airs on television but i record every episode. The cast is great and the plot is outstanding, im always waiting to see whats in his vault every week..lol!!!
Love this show…..great cast, great story lines and funny.
Love this show. My son and I watch it every week.
Keep The Finder and Alcatraz. People really enjoy them and would like to see them develop into full fledge awesomeness. The refreshing characters are the reason I keep coming back.
The show will get canceled. It is interesting, in that the charecters’ background and expansion becomes desirous to know. However, because it is like an episodic mystery, once they ‘find their man’, there is little devoted to the charecter’s development and change, and that is where the late night soaps like Dallas kept our weekly attention for so long. Make a goal, like Willa’s gypsy boyfriend is to ‘find’ Willa as the girl of his dreams, as The Finder helps with that goal himself, and this show can acquire a larger audience as it ‘finds’ itself, and concludes the reason… Read more »
KEEP THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO TIRED OF SO CALLED REALITY SHOWS
PLEASE KEEP the show!!! My husband and I thoroughly enjoy it…
DO NOT CANCEL THE FINDER!!!!!! My husband and I love it. Cancel American Idol. It has run it’s course and it’s just not the same without the original judges. Cancel some of those other shows that promote fast living with no consequences. KEEP THE FINDER!!!!!
Keep it! FOX, don’t make a mistake like you did with Human Target.
I am so with you on that
Please keep the show, it is a lot of fun to watch. You should not cancel a show based on just a few episodes in the first season. Most shows need a second season to be able to get into the groove.
great show
I agree with all these people who say this show is GREAT! The casting is incredibly perfect! The story lines are great! Not like other networks with all the depressing story lines! This show takes me away for the hour it is on and draws me in and makes me forget about all the problems! Its combination of serious yet comical is very refreshing! Keeping it on after the popular idol will help it catch on even more! Changing it to fridays could be the kiss of death, which will be very disappointing! Favorite must see show!
